diet is important - playing story mode for an hour i burn 150 calories - i also do 10/15 mins of jogging in custom mode in the morning. This is - 300 calories total - combined with a 200 calorie deficit diet - you can loose 1 pound of fat a week!

Cardio itself isn't half as effective as the other exercises, so skipping them to do more cardio is pointless. Just because your heartrate is up doesn't mean you're burning more fat. You need those other exercises to build muscle so the muscle can continue to burn fat long after the workout.
lmao. You can't grow muscle with any videogame excercise 😂😂 You need to hit the gym in order to do that. And weight loss is 90% diet anyway. And this girl is hardly a contestant for "My 600lbs life" so who cares anyway.

It's common knowledge that a diet that consists of plenty of protein + doing very hard excercises (a.k.a) lifting very heavy weights grows muscle. You can do 2000 squats every sinle day but if you don't use weights while doing it your legs will never grow muscle. Burning fat (which will make the muscle underneath become visible) is something completely different from *growing* muscle. Plus the fact that your diet needs to be spot on. This is a VIDEOGAME for crying out loud 🤣😂 If you're serious about changing your physique HIT THE GYM!

Today is day 4 of owning Ring Fit! So far I've only worked out 2 days using it but today is day 3 of workouts and I won't be doing it until later in the evening. I do want to work out bc I'm at my heaviest I've ever been but I'm just so unmotivated, mostly bc I don't want to do it alone but so far RF has satiated that desire. My arms are a little sore from my workouts and I did select arm workouts while playing the story mode. Yesterday and today are my days off and I want to play 👀😳 I also love to game, with shooters being my highly preferred game and this story game is able to captivate me long enough to do one workout a day and to also get my step count in on my health app and help me hatch eggs on pokemon go!? So far I love it! I still hate the idea of working out even though I like the feeling of being sore and crave it from time to time but...I want to play the game, and I do!
I'm definitely buying it this year. I've quit smoking and drinking to get back into fitness. I wasn't sure about this when I first saw it cause there were a lot of bad exercise games on the Wii, but this one looks good. I also like how it doesn't take up much space at all.

Late reply here, but losing weight is all about calorie deficit. It doesn't matter if you burnt 200 calories with a 20 minute workout if you eat 2 extra donuts that day you gained more calories than you lost.
I am not a big fan of exercising, so I like finding fun ways to workout like ring fit, fitness boxing, just dance, lately I been doing ring fit then use fitness boxing as a cool down, I also have an elliptical strider pedal for my dad but I do use it sometimes too, with all that combined that is about over 500 or more calories burned!
Where did you get those wrist bands for playing fitness boxing? Just saw them in this video. I also have FB and am always worried about accidentally smashing my tv, plus it doesn't feel nice to hold in sweaty hands..
Great review but i think the loosing weight part is more about how much effort you actually put in. Not trying to say you didn't push yourself in every exercise, but it seems from looking at people playing this , they perform some part half-assed.
not just that but everyone loses weight at a different speed and level, I always had the mindset with working out. I want to feel healthy and fit if', I lose weight it's a nice side effect but not a necessity' apparently that was a healthy way of thinking according to my instructors. also, your diet weighs in too, you can work out as much as you want but if you go to MacDonalds afterward to reward yourself then yea your probably not doing yourself a favor lol.

Rarely people can lose weight just by exercising, reason being that human body are extremely adaptive that our nutrition intake and activities maintains at a similar ratio on it's own. When you move more you automatically eat more without even realizing, and when you eat less you just don't want to move as much. It's a dilemma that makes body shaping so hard. You need a complete confidence at what you are doing while sticking to the plans.

I have this game. My fiancé bought it for me from GameStop shortly after it was released for $80. He thought it would help motivated me to want to workout. I played it once since early 2020 and I am on world 3 final boss and I’m at a difficulty level of 4. I am also at almost level 21 with my character. I was so close to beating the final boss but I ran out of smoothie juice and coins. He killed be first, all he needed was one more hit to die I was so mad lol. Then the game said I should rest for the day. I played for almost 43 mins trying to kill the final boss in world 3.

I really hate working out, but I really want this game. At least it makes working out fun.

If you.wamt just jogging only, just set 5/6 jogging custom exercises - that lets you do 10/20 mins of just jogging

I bought it on January 1st. I played for two dogs. Today I did sweat a little. I have exercise but I really felt this was fun.
