Is it an anime movie or a live action movie? I think they get more with the anime movie then the live action one and what is it gonna be about the beginning of the war or Marcus in prison
I Pray for the day gears is good again, i really do. But we gotta stop huffing so much copium with coalition they have proved multiple times they are too removed and don't even understand. colorful bright skins cartoony vibes, robots? feels like less gore or satisfaction from headshots, the feel of the guns like the gears 1 gnasher.
The day I see that gears of war movie trailer I think I'll shed a tear.

As I have said countless times before, and will continue to do so because it's true, you have kept the fire of Gears of War alive and hopefully with this it'll bring new life to Gears of War and cause more people new and old to come to Gears of War. This and Halo were like my first major fandoms/franchises that I was REALLY interested and invested in and it warms my heart to see it's still getting some recognition and love.

This is tremendous news, I’m really looking forward to this movie and I’m feeling confident that they’ll produce it properly. I also truly hope they get Batista to play Marcus, the dude has been dreaming about this role and has so much energy for it! Gears of War is a series that deserves a lot more recognition and a video game movie adaptation will definitely show just how badass it is.

I hope the Gears of War Netflix movie short live action is mixed bag for me. But for animated series is definitely promising, however the style visuals should be castlevania netfliex style. That would work as a Gears of War animated series and I hope they do spin off, but lets how goes. As always King Abz great video

I love to see Dave Bautista as Marcus. He is perfect for the role and remastering the games. Oh my Stars! This is cool! Remaster is so badass! Especially I got myself Remastered Dead Space!

I can’t wait for it (especially seeing Marcus chainsawing through the locust
Josh Brolin/Tom Hardy as Marcus, Ryan Gosling/Chris Pine as Baird, and Terry Crews as Cole.
Benicio Del Toro/Javier Bardem id say they would be good Dom's especially with the synergy they'd already have with Josh Brolin if he was Marcus.
Maybe throw in Adam Driver as a member of the Carmine family, he can be serious but funny too.
if you put Hardy as Marcus, you could use Brolin as Dizzy.
Cast Ryan Hurst as Raam he did good as a big scary antagonist in TWD. If they do the 1st game story line, that is. if its Raam they need someone with a big frame already, and they can just do hollywood magic to make him a giant.
That would put the cast at all around 40-55 though, with Driver being the youngest in his late 30s.
Im not sure who would be good for a younger cast, those dudes all come to mind.

Have we already forgotten how well another Xbox IP went in live action? Considering its netflix, at best expect massive character inconsistencies/changes. At worst I can see them completely butcher any edge/spine the trilogy was known for and turn it into a "safe" mcu action comedy with minimal gore and language.

The movie is going to go under the radar and chances are it will flop, because chances are they will ignore what really makes Gears, Gears - and try and market it to a broader audience by sanding out the real details which comprise the world of Serra. This effort will then displease actual pre-existing fans, who they will eventually ignore because doing things right doesn't "pay" anymore, despite decades of evidence to the contrary for any real creative.
depends on the cast, if they pump some money into it and secure a good cast it'll be pretty big. if they get maybe one big name and then the rest is just randoms it might flop. the cast will really make or break its success

As a person from the LGBTQ community, I 100% agree with you. It's just basic common sense, not every movie needs that stuff, the topic is overused. And hopefully Gears of War doesn't fall victim to this. I started getting into it in October this year and it's awesome as hell. If it gets ruined I will legit be so upset.
