Basically he got a bit lucky there going 2nd and that 7 digits bar was the lucky game winner to seal it His 1st battle was a TKO The one vs Lotto was a split decision w 10-9 rounds The final one was a brutal knockout punch

As someone who hates rap, I thought that last scene was great. Still it points to the problem with most rap. Coming from a good household with two parents with "a good marriage" is a bad thing? Being proud to be a thug is a good thing?
@ I'm not white. I'm brown. I hate rap because it tells young people that you can make it selling drugs, pimping hoes, stealing, and acting like a thug. I grew up around hispanic friends who either wanted to be rappers or were into that hip hop lifestyle. They all ended up dead, in jail, or living with their momma's with dead end fast food jobs.
@ I disagree. That just becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. The hip hop mentality makes them believe that. And the vast majority of these people do not become rappers. My close friend growing up did perform in some local shows but he never became big. The vast majority of rapper wannabees cannot make a living from that profession. Then what are they going to do with their life when they quit school and have a record? Life becomes very tough for these people. The fact is that I grew up in the same neighborhood as my friends who were into hip hop. I did not end up like them. I stayed in school, went to college, and work as engineer now making good money. Then again I was never into the hip hop lifestyle.
I don't think he meant it as a bad thing, just that he was essentially a poser? And Em was calling him out on that. That's how I interpreted it. He had a pretty privileged life compared to Em and yet, he's acting like he's some kind of hard gangster that went through all the difficult times like the rest of them.
EM also held auditions for anyone who thought they had it to battle him. And if they came wit it then he was guna put them in the movie. But pretty much all Them either choked or got destroyed. Some of it can be seen in the soeacial features in the dvd. There is a chik that thought she was guna destroy EM and when it can time for her to shine she choked. And then Em just destroyed her after that lol
"Don't ever try to judge me dude, you don't know what the fuck I've been through"
