    what a beautiful resource. We are from New Zealand and find these types of resources often leave out our beautiful and special wee country though. We are part of the Australasia continent but see in your video the box is called Australia. I might have to get creative and make my own! It seems as though your family have found a beautiful balanced way of life and that you give your daughter wonderful learning experiences. I love watching your videos when I need a little spark of inspiration and motivation!

    We just finished going through each continent box with those cards and pins. Those maps are beautiful. We also had fun with a safari tube for each box and model magic. We made little displays of the animals on a small canvas board. When they are all placed on a table it’s a journey across the world. The wood boxes are gorgeous!!! I’m just using steri lite boxes. Just beautiful!!!

    I purchased the downloadable version of the antarctica study just over a year ago from her TPT store and loved putting that together but...........those boxes 😍 they are gorgeous and I want them! And, those true books are great. Love the addition of those.

    This is a great idea! It makes me want to apply the concept to create history and science themed boxes for some topics we have already covered. My 9 year old especially loves free play inspired by his learning. And we love the Safari LTD toobs.

    We are building a house but think I am going without furniture for the most of the house so I can fill our homeschool room. These are amazing. 🥰

    I absolutely love these! You always have the best recommendations for resources. Where can I purchase your traveling the world curriculum? Are you on Etsy?

    I love this idea! I'm thinking something like this may be good for my 12 year old who has NOT enjoyed geography this year. How do you go about using this?? Do you set aside specific time for each unit? Or is all of that Info in the blog post? (Haven't had time to read yet)

    Gorgeous boxes! I know this is a bit irrelevant, but aren't puffins found only in the northern hemisphere?

      Definitely not irrelevant.

      You are correct. I forgot that the cards for Antartica list Arctic and Antarctic animals. Thank you for pointing that out. They are in our Antarctic box because we sort them one versus the other.

      @@TheWaldockWay that’s a good idea for a lesson. The cards are so beautiful, I’m thinking of ordering some. Thanks for sharing your boxes.

    Do you ever sell your books and manipulative a that Emily has outgrown? My daughter is a couple of years younger and I’d be interested if you ever do.

    • @TheWaldockWay
      @TheWaldockWay  3 роки тому

      I have a step mom who teaches 1st grade and a neice and nephew who are younger than Emily. Normally we pass things down/on to them.
