Difficult unless you draw on em Dave.Wind direction is a big factor.Top of ramp pegs around 35ish seems a decent area as a rule but never certain.Heart breaking water at times.Keep on BAGGIN mate

Jesus I'd have lost the will to live after the first hour.. as a match never no way..feeder masters didnt exactly push the boat out including that venue... come on step it up folks that's a pleasure venue for O.A.Ps for crying out loud those weights are disgusting.. at least have all these feeder masters gentleman's somewhere that requires fishing to win and not drawing like this.. so unfair Dave .. shouldn't have been in ... none of ya had a chance.. sorry mate but I'm that gutted for you and everyone.. big ups the Mighty.. we know your both .. and all of you are better than that.. this one's down to the venue.. you are owed.

That's Southfield reservoir for you, never seen much court there accept Jamie Harrison about four year's ago, 140lb in the woods, seen load's of video's and all had bit's and bob's, BORING place to fish 🤔

Some of the comments on here are crazy you don't qualify from southfield if your a lesser angler ive you looked at the names that go to this place. It's not a bagging water it makes you think about what you are doing and it's crucial you make the right choices at the right times when a pond or even ounces make the difference between winning or not its vital you make the right decision. Look at the recent winners of big events here lee kerry Steve ringer the best two feeder anglers in the world lesser anglers don't win here. Its a fair playing field because it can be won from any peg but you've got to get it right. Not every match is about bagging big carp or loads of f1s it's the variety at the top level witch separates this sport from the rest

I swear the bulk of the fish in there know when matches are on and swim off into the canal for the day. Wants about 10 Tonne more fish dropping in.

Great video. The comments speak volumes though fishing isn't ment to be easy it a supposed to be hard this is why these venues are more satisfying. Seems people want to catch 100lb everytime they go crazy to me

Not one to comment when I don't like something dave .. but Southfield probably worst fishery in country..... only time I see some bream is when someone is pegged in the woods...( over pool)

Nice try dave, I didn't like the look of the place as soon as you got there, it's to open for me. They are so big if the fish are not in your area then you have no chance.

It needs stocking with fish ....its quite simple ...i have fished it many times and i am not afraid to say that i have fished carparks in many a town centre that i have caught more ....fact ..shelf dam fished better than this in 1976 and the water level was very low dearly as low as scamadam dam whe the M 62 crosses the top of it ...oh yeah ...the motto is water fish . Fish water ...fishermen /woman ...fish in water . Water ..with fish in it . .for woman anad man ..people persons boys girls ..men... woman ....who enjoy fishing ...people ...water..fish ..safelt ...so put some fish in the water ..its quite simple ...water fish . Fish water .. we all love fishing...it makes plenty for yhe economy and does good for the environment....its a win win situation...its not rocket science...fish water..
