    Yeah I say it all the time in my company being a good entry level work won’t make you suitable to take on supervisory task, as there are other skills that you need which may be lacking in said persons.

    Top tip on how one day to be promoted to management…don’t ever be good at your job, most companies will never promote a valuable employee in their current position, say what they want about best interview gets the job that’s just a load of bull

    In my opinion, for a growing company if the person does not have the chops or the ambition to make it to the next level, they should not be hired in the first place. Why bother investing in someone if you are not going to see a return on your investment.

      People can still grow in their job without moving into a management position. I think it is important to have all employees participate in continuous improvement activities so they continue to grow and are challenged in their work. Not everyone is suited to manage other people.
