The comic book about Trap is called Honor Among Thieves: The Feast of the Moon. Apparently they made like a bunch more DnD movies after that terrible DnD movie that made me never see any more DnD movies. Anyway, they made that comic for one of the new movies (which by the way are apparently pretty decent) and it looks pretty good!
Yeah basically I've been trying to switch from idiot audio tools to proper ones that take an actual brain to understand. I'll try to balance better next time.
God, Myconids are cool, but they just remind me of how D&D can be TOO fantastical. Go try to be in a pirate game, meet a captain, not a single human anywhere to be found, every GD race is represented though, and of course, random myconids spattered about, like "Nah, nope, dude the game is over, the demographics are *ed"
Yeah I agree that even compared to other fantasy species they are quite fantastical. I think it was a good decision to keep them stuck in the Underdark.
The circle of spores Druid is my absolute favorite subclass in 5e and now that the Spore order has been added to pathfinder I’m all in there. I can play as a Fungus Leshy (a plant based explorer) that’s a spore order Druid. So much fun.
unfortunately i don’t have a d&d group to play with so stats aren’t of interest to me at the moment, but straight up lore videos? cannot get enough. i’m so glad you came up on my recommended, i love your channel already!
Dude! Try solo gaming! There's a wealth of stuff out there for b/x (old edition I know but solo rpgs need to be rules light) There's also good stuff for od&d and I highly recommend Kal arath as a booklet that contains everything to solo.
As my current character is a Paladin of Ilmater, from the Monastery of the yellow rose in the bloodstone lands… Please! The Ilmatari, Vaasa, Damara and maybe a rhemoraz or two?
@@Lorepaedia the Warlock Knights, Zhengyi, Bloodstone Keep, the earthspur mountains. It’s a beautiful place in my mind… I’m glad I can visit it in my own head
There is a huge lack of baldur's gate 3 specific lore specifically talking about connections to the actual d&d lore that they put in. It would be cool to see someone do that.
Yeah I want to do something like this eventually, I'm trying to figure out how to do it without spoilers (or at least being up front about it) and I think the format would need to be a bit different to account for the branching narrative possibilities.
Had a lot of fun helping out the myconids and sverfneblin communities in the Out of the Abyss campaign!
They will sing songs for generations about their Tall/Soft saviors. ^^
Yells in Dwarvish: MYCONID STEW IS PEOPLE!
Love the art and soft consistent voice. Gonna keep watching all these for a good while ❤
Thanks, enjoy! ^^
Been absolutely binging all of this content. Best thing to fall asleep to ever.
Thanks so much, pleasant dreams! ^^

You are not being clear. You are gonna have to be specific which terrible DND movie you mean
@@jacobfreeman5444 The one with a Wayans brother. Ngl I would watch Jeremy Irons in another dnd movie though.
That's funny just found the Shrooms folkin BG3 yesterday lol
nice!
Great video but music volume is way too high
I will improve the audio balancing in the future.
i wonder would they taste good with a little bit of butter ? ;D
Not Kevin! :O
First comment, yay
Looking forward to another great lore video
Thanks for watching first! :D
Did something happen with the mic or the mixing? I have stable audio on and the music sounds a bit too loud compared to the voice🤔
Yeah basically I've been trying to switch from idiot audio tools to proper ones that take an actual brain to understand. I'll try to balance better next time.
@Lorepaedia it's only slightly too loud, i only noticed after seeing this
Wonder why Mithral Hall didn't return the favour to the deep gnomes?!?
Too busy eating Myconids.

Dnd...is too.. Fantastical?
@@creamyisdead sometimes you want a more grounded vibe, at least for low-level play.
Thanks for providing great content! Love listening to these long videos for my road trips.
Thanks so much, have (a) good trip(s)!
Why evolve movement if not to commit violence?
A question we can unfortunately only pose to an insane interdimensional fungus.

Yeah I think these guys would be fascinating to play. Tons of opportunity for fish out of water comedy and other hijinks.

Killed A LOT of these in Icewind Dale.
Boom new lorepedia!!!!

Gods the myconids are so cool. If there’s one species I’d want to meet from D&D, it’d be them.
Awesome video!
Thanks! Yeah I agree, probably the coolest god I've covered so far.
Peaceful nature? Bg2 has entered the chat...
That's how they get you.
God, i hated them in that game
