I have to say that I was really disappointed with Dune part 2. I was so looking forward to seeing this part since I absolutely enjoyed part 1. In the end, I had the feeling that all the world building that was made in part 1 was lost because part 2 just destroyed every bit of the plot (Harkonnen menace, Emperor’s true powers, Sardokar, etc.), except the one about the Bene Gesserit. To be honest, Dune part 2 gave me Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 vibes, which left me traumatised. Btw I haven’t read the books so I discover the story with the movies…
