Watched it when first broadcast with my brothers and our truck-driving great uncle on my little brother's birthday. Our uncle was on the edge of his seat through the action with lots of excited commentary and was at least half the excitement.

If my memory serves me right the older man is Noah beery . I don't remember who the younger man is tho . Noah beery appeared with James garner in the Rockford files later on .
