If Aiyuk leaves that's step one to the Niners becoming the Vikings/Cowboys. Teams stuck with an overpriced qb and aging vets.
Still no replacement for Trent, Deebo is a hamstring away and Kittle is.....well.....Kittle. He's due to miss 7 games this season.

Niner gang seems to be singing a different tune now. People called him a diva, said he had no leverage, etc. Lol should have just paid him like 29 million before the 30+ million contracts dropped. Play stupid games...you know the rest lol
Bonta race card when Aiyuk basically did his own worst version of the Decision when he's not even the best player at his position. Deebo played his games during his negotiations off one good season. Bosa and Trent never said a word or posted a thing and let things work itself out.
Bonta has been trying to make this a race thing , because he always brings up Bosa and even Bosa' s brother hold outs. And says the fans didn't treat them the same ,and says things like " I wonder why".

I understand where aiyuk is coming from but he’s still under contract I’m sure Brock is disgusted he’s playing for 1 million dollars but he’s under contract anyone ever think of that angle

@@ains7327 the difference is if the QB gets hurt he most likely will still get the big deal. The market is not as kind to WRs.
@@AYjoy93 not as kind to wrs that’s why we have a aiyuk problem right now the wr market exploded. I hope he gets his money but I’m of the belief wr are not the most important position on a football team
@@ains7327 that may be true. However if a WR on a one year deal gets hurt, he’s not getting the big deal he was worth before injury as a QB would. That still stands.
Bottom line, it’s in the 49ers interest to make sure he’s on this football team this year.
Now, I’ve been saying make him play on the 5th year option. But that’s only as a last resort. My preference is for both sides to swallow their pride and meet in the middle on a deal. That involves both parties feeling like they gave up too much. But it’s a rational outcome And in the interests of both parties. But if that fails, then do not trade him unless you get some insane haul. Instead make him play on the fifth year option.
The deals that have been floating around the rumor mill are complete non-starters. A busted up Kendrick Bourne, an already slow receiver coming off a torn acl who’s not even a WR3 on a good team at this point in his career, plus a 2nd round pick next year (which actually makes it like a 3rd value wise because you have to wait so long for a return on investment). For a top 10 (top 15 at worst) WR. That’s absolutely clownish. It is one of biggest jokes of a trade proposal I’ve ever heard in my life. And if the 49ers were to pull the trigger on that trade immediately live in infamy alongside Trey Lance debacle. It would be a complete and utter organizational failure on every single level.

@@AYjoy93 Well, I’ve heard so many different things at this point that I’m not at all sure what to believe. I’m skeptical of everything involving this situation at this point. But some of the stuff I’ve heard with respect to the Pittsburgh side of the compensation ranges from the absolutely absurd (James Daniels and a 3rd, which would basically be like gifting Khan a top 10-15 receiver for free) to a bit more reasonable (2 1sts). It better be damn good compensation for a top 10-15 receiver just entering his prime, who’s been an iron man in terms of durability, who block his ass off and wins at all 3 levels of the field and who has gotten better every single year. 2 1sts for a sure thing like that is about right. Or a 1st and a very good vet starter or a 1st and 2 of your good young prospects. But the starting to even begin a conversation is a 1st plus more. If that’s not the basic starting framework then I’m hanging up the phone and telling Brandon and Khan to kick rocks.
