Re: Virtualisation - Typically when using VMware vSphere (ESXi) with other operating systems (Windows\Linux\Unix\BSD\etc...) you would connect to them remotely using RDP, SSH, etc. The console is there for initial deployment (unless you've got builds automated\orchestrated etc). The OS/2 (ArcaOS) guest editions would be great for driver support and performance, but have little affect for daily use. VMware Workstation would benefit more from the guest additions, i.e. mouse and sound support. OS/2 (ArcaOS) would benefit from modern remote management protocols whether that's VNC (a modern build), SSH, etc. Go one step further, the ArcaOS installer would detect the install is being performed on a virtual machine and offer to install the remote management protocols by default.
