I was so confused I thought this was only one song and wondered why hop a plane took 5 minutes to play. I discovered a tegan & sara song i hadn't heard yet though so no complaints. Also, that transition was great
I think originally Superstar had a lot more energy to it. It didn't sound so blurted out like it does in this live version. I loved the song back when the originally made it. As of the more recent years I think they forgot how to sing it in the same style as they used to which is a shame because it sounded so much better back in the day. Either way T&S are great. I love all of their music.
To be honest, it's a little difficult to talk/sing that fast and play guitar at the same time. (this recording is faster than the studio original) It's not like the new music sounds exactly the same as the record either.
I didn't say it did. They used to play it better though. It just sounds a bit sloppy to me all sped up like that. I love Tegan and Sara though. I have never disliked anything they have put out. Everything they produce is good.
I wish I had another daughter cause wife and I couldn’t agree on a name for longest while. I wanted Lorelei and Tegan and she wanted other names. (Over 4 years ago they elude me at the moment which ones she wanted) Eventually we settled for the former and she was leaning towards Teegan (ewww lol) for the second but turned out to be a boy. No more chances after that le sigh
