I used this exact sermon for friday evening in my church, I am 23 years old. The few people in the church didn't like the message, they don't accept the fact that is perfectly fine to be single as well as it is to be married, is nothing wrong with either of them. I pray tat they will understand some day, because they put so much presure on people that are not married.
In the fullness of time, God will enlighten and expand our understanding. Keep the saints in prayers & keep communing with us through this channel.

That's true. I've learnt, and I won't entertain abuse, or societal standards. Nobody talks about the dangers of self gratification that comes with conforming to societal standards. I'm getting old but let me be patient owada.

Praise God for the wonderful message, Thank you Lord for the open eye for myself that I don't need someone or anyone just to be complete, that I don't need to sacrifice even my faith just to be able be with someone. Self, If you can't handle your own life, you have no business inviting someone else into your suffering. All of us are created with capacity to operate alone until God creates somebody for you when He so wishes.

Given what I have seen and see regularly, I would rather be single, because what I see is just not worth all that comes with it.

Pastor you are married. Don't mislead others. God discourages celibacy. Leave your wife first, before encouraging others to be single.
Seems you got the whole thing wrongly.
He's not saying you should remain single.
You didn't get the message. He's not saying you have to be single. Is perfectly fine to be married and get married as well as being single. And by the way, there is nothing wrong in being single, even all your life.
