Smile had a few jump scares... We weren't scared at all... What did you think of Smile?

Seeing it in the theaters was a bit different and because of how loud the noises are it was more scary to me as specially the part where she is listening to the audio playback and it's saying her name over and over and then her mother's face shows up from no where that had my heart beating fast buy mostly because of how loud it was and such. I do like this movie because it talks about mentel health isses from the point of veiw of the person who has it instead of being the one looking at someone else who has it. It shows how it's not their fult that their mind isn't fully there and that the metal issues is like a demon they can never shake and can never escape either. It took it's face off in the end because that is it's true form and then it posessed her after that. I liked this movie personally and just so you know all the smiles here are real the actors themselves do their best creepy smile no CGI involved because the director felt it would look more natural and creepy that way and he was right. The actress of rose is Kevin Bacon's real life daughter I know her from a few things when she was a teenager. Grate reaction girls.

I can imagine how scarier it would’ve been in the cinema. Those speakers are LOUD. And I agree with you, I liked the depiction of mental health issues but seeing the demon “in its truest form” just threw me out of it a little bit because I just wasn’t expecting to see that at all. And I’ve seen the actress in other things but I didn’t know she’s Kevin Bacon daughters, that’s cool!

@@JustLucinda Yes showinhg the creature is always less scary because until then your mind is forced to fill in the blanks and that makes it all the more scary. I can see why some people say this one is like It follows but honostly I hated everything about that movie so I don't like it when they do that haha. This was the director's first feature film which is interesting really.

I liked this movie, similar to It Follows a bit but this one had better screenplay.
