      I actually have the book on my phone and listen to at least two chapters every day until the end of the audio. I've been doing this for weeks. Soon I will take notes and practice what I am learning. First I have to learn how to focus on my goal..

    The internet as a whole has begun to lift all of mankind in a few important ways
    with this tool you can study anything in this world that you would like to master. In the last 7 years there is no subject or question that I have not been able to attain knowledge of or connections too. the internet has driven and made possible for all like minded people to come together and share idea's I think if the powers that be new it was going to be such a phenomenon they would have stopped it.

    This was pretty good. It got a teensy bit spiritual towards the end and that was corny. It was more deist than theist though. Other than that, I was very impressed. I'd recommend this to anyone.

    It's interesting how many of the current motivators are simply restating what this author and N. Hill said 80 years ago. A. Robbins took J. Rohn's ideas and a few others and repackaged them.

    So far, this book make sense more so than others in the way that it feels like common sense. But to read it and have it all brought to you in detail really let's you organize the thoughts you ( or at least I) have over being able to concentrate and getting shit done. I'm currently learning a new skill which I want to be superb at eventually because I really enjoy it and when you have a big task like that, a book like this can really help.

    Timeless wisdom more relevant today more then ever. It's spiritual written in the scriptures. When people lose vision they perish by losing control of their thoughts and the mind becomes susceptible to believing lies as though they were truth.

    • @darrenfaddes3911
      @darrenfaddes3911 9 років тому +1

      I know, it's a massive battery drain forcing your screen to stay on. There is a way to circumvent it. I still use UA-cam app for videos but for audio books, podcasts and music, I use another browser that allows you to turn screen off or do other things on your device simultaneously

    • @paulmassardier1735
      @paulmassardier1735 9 років тому

      Also, you can have that feature on the BlackBerry Passport ! I mean turn the screen off while audio's still running

    • @claudionational620
      @claudionational620 9 років тому +1

      I agree, UA-cam is great for info sharing. Kills the battery on your phone. I use the audio books when I'm driving. The radio is the same if not worse then the TV.

      UA-cam took the feature away because the figured it would be better if you paid for it. UA-cam Red is now available and they give you the option to watch or listen with the screen on or off. It sucks really but If you got the money, you can enjoy it how you want to. If i'm not mistaken, It's $9.99/Month .. Just FYI

    • @Mark467

    Spiritual thinking. Those who do good rejoice now they rejoice later they rejoice now and later. They rejoice and they are happy when they think of their own good deeds. Be an island unto yourself be your own refugee take noone else as your refugee take dhamma as your island and refugee. Bend like a bow and be pliant as bamboo and then you will not be at odds with anyone.you are blessed.Thanks.

      Katja M hmm yes, there are some parts of the book that just can't help me at all and from my prespective are really really.. stupid. For example all this about being exited: if you really care about a certain thing, about the content of your work, that is what's motivating you the most. People who are passionate and exited about the things they do are willing to think about these things in their free time an that puts them way ahead of others. I feel as if this is written for people who want to run a huge business or something, not for learners, I don't know
      there definitely are good thoughts and points and if they help others then.. it probably just isn't for everyone

    Interesting, but emotions are one of the great powers in manifestation when used correctly. The author seems to not grasp this. No artist can achieve anything without emotional powers. One cannot even have a will or drive without emotions.

      Controlled Emotions. Self control. Not erratic or wild. "When USED correctly..." is what you said. Ever try using something that you couldn't control like a car without pedals or a steering wheel? Might not yield desirable results🙂

    There is one, at least one, in every class who has a similar attitude like yours, and undoubtedly, they find themselves a total failure in life. A true leader in life, even if he does not like something, can find something, even if very little, to complement or if not would keep his mouth shut. Have you thought about the fact that if this book does not go along with your mind, it may help someone else. Obviously you did not give this idea a chance, otherwise you wont be writing these words here.
