The derby is just one of 3 different horse races that make up the entire Triple Crown competition. The Kentucky Derby is in Louisville, then the Preakness which is in Baltimore, Maryland, and lastly the Belmont which is in Elmont, New York. It's obviously an east coast thing, but horse races happen all over the nation. Why should a fun and entertaining event move to California? California has enough events and people as-is. The derby is a great revenue source for Kentucky, so it should continue to stay there.

@ultraquiz We do?? Ok...guess you have never been to London or Dubai. And the masks are getting old. I had 5 residents get COVID even after the shot. Sham.
The masks ruined it all.
It added a sense of elegance to the event.
Some look like wannabe´s, such nice hats and chewing bubble gum like they're sell tickets at the town fair. The other, with the horelike hats seem like they are there to have a good time, and just enjoy the races, nothing wrong with chewing bubble gum, just don't try to pretend you're a member of royalty when your whole demeanor makes it clear you are not
