Very odd, I've been watching videos like yours all morning and everyone has very similar settings, but they don't work for me. I get a jumpy output in Camtasia and the brightness is cranked to almost a white screen. I haven't quite figured out the happy spot yet but I get better results if I change the video encoder to mpeg-4. Thoughts?
I’ve got a video converter on my itch that uses ffmpeg to convert that you might want to try. Otherwise, the brightness issue is odd. Do you think your gpu settings might be attempting to apply “vivid” settings or something? I’d check nvidia control panel. mikethetech.itch.io/
@@MikeTheTech I goofed around with it for about an hour and found a happy setting that I could save and reuse. I don't know if all these settings are necessary but I checked Web Optimized on Summary tab, and on Video tab I set the Video Encoder to MPEG-4 (fps to default, which is 30) and Quality to 10. I tried lower numbers for Quality and all it did was increase the file size (no obvious improvements and at 10 it seems to keep the file size around the same as the original).
I have a seemingly unique problem - i used itunes to transfer a bunch of videos I took with my iPhone to my computer. I am now trying to convert these .MOV files to MP4. After I use Handbrake to convert a video, the video's colours are extremely bleached looking. It's like the exposure and saturation have been turned all the way up. Any ideas?
I've got a video converter that can convert .mov files to .mp4 without changing any settings. Uses ffmpeg just like Handbrake, too. ua-cam.com/video/s1pp9V8z3UY/v-deo.html
