I was at this. Hurling was really at it's peak with 18,000 people there. You wouldn't get it at a championship match now. No fcuk acting with the ball, no 10 yard passes with the hurley and a heavier ball meant it was in play more often with more goalmouth action. A minor discretion 100 yards from goal is usually a gaurenteed point nowadays. It's become too much of a shoot out by the free takers. Patrick Horgan got 15 two weeks ago and Aron Gillane 11. Crazy stuff and very boring. Needs to change.
Yet another victory for Limerick over Clare. Or given that Clare has no maternity hospital, and 90 percent of the species are born at the "Dolls Factory" on the Ennis Road, the "Limerick B-team".
This was the biggest ever crowd at a nhl game I believe... Over 18000 there that day for a group game was incredible

They need to change the balls back to the way they were. Larger rims, bigger ball, change the core back to what it was.
