He also has Abraham Lincoln's suit he made sure and dry cleaned it before the auction
Lmfao
He actually had three Honus Wagner cards, and put them in the spokes of his son’s bicycle
That would be a mad rich kid flex 💪
He would have made so much money if he didn’t ruin the bats and balls
Most likely more then 100 or 200 grand
What a dumb dumb.
Yes, art and furniture esthetic and sports value are two different things. You got to like his imagination, but you can't marry these two things as far as monetary value. He actually downgraded the value by making something that is unique and wonderful. But you can't make something into something it's not.The cards in the seat can obviously be salvaged, but man, he messed up on the baseball and bats backrest/armrests. He destroyed their value. It would be almost a crime, if his intentions hadn't been good.
“Hey look at all this amazing memorabilia, let me sit on it!!”
That, is hysterical.
Drill a hole in it
Seller: "Having an expert come is a good thing."
Expert: "What you did to the bats and balls is both careless and sacrilegious"
Hope you're satisfied now bud.
Rick offers 8k. Seller says he has X3 that much in the autographs. You would think that thought would have crossed his mind when he was destroying them with a drill
I bet that guy has a polished set of vintage coins.
Who cares? It's better than shooting up a place.
Jordan R Wtf you on about
LMAO! Nailed it!
I knew a guy who actually did that.
I bet if we cut up Michelangelo's David statue we could make some wonderful countertops.
Same guy had a mint condition Mickey Mantel but folded it in to a paper airplane.
0:58 the bolts on the end are a good touch
Oooooofff.
Despite that, it affects the value of the bats and baseballs.
I'm guessing you talking bout the nuts
WOW! Rare sporting memorabillia! Let's drill holes through it!
This is the type of guy who would have the Mona Lisa painting then get the paint touched up
Money can buy a lot of autographed baseball memorabilia, but it can't buy taste. This whole thing was criminal.
Touche Sir! It's ghastly.
He shouldn’t have used signed bats and balls. It would’ve been cool with the cards and regular balls and bats
RICK IS A PROFESSIONAL DEVALUER
No Tom the seller is…. He managed to turn signed bats into firewood
If i was the owner of the dodgers or some crazy dodgers collector i would definitely approach the 50k mark, this is amazing
Here's an update on that guy : he still has that dodgers bench SMH
So cool of so many of you to make the exact same joke.
Quite frankly, this is a museum piece. He wanted to make it special but what was special to him didn't cater to what sells in the market today.
This is the kind of person who would take a valuable coin and use a wire brush on it.
Knows there's a buyer out there, goes to pawn shop.
For the clout
Every time this pops back up in my recommended videos I feel so bad for this guy.
At least he’s got something cool for himself and it’s not completely worthless.
I work with Tom and the saddest part is that Tom is the nicest most respectful person you'd ever meet.
This is the type of guy that would take all the stickers off the Rubix Cube and glue them back on to where it would be solved
Rumor has it this guy bought a brand new corvette and put a ford fusion motor in it.
I feel bad for the man. I'm not even a fan of baseball and would never ever think of drilling holes in things like that. But here in the east coast we have a store named home depot and they sell wood he could have made a bench with slots to put the bats and ball each in individual slot. Bt then again that only my opinion lol dam
lol he drilled holes through everything
this guy would buy 20 of the most collectablelike cars in the world and display them they did on waynes world all on top of each other with a big spike through them.
He destroyed everything the second he finished building that "bench"!
I can see chum receiving a Brian stowe style beat down in the parking lot of Dodger stadium!
The bats and balls aren’t worth much anymore cause they’re practically destroyed, but the cards are worth a ton of money. Just the Sandy Koufax autographed rookie card alone sells for $5,000+ on eBay. That whole collection of cards in particular is worth well over the $10-12,000 appraisal.
This Guy would take a Honus Wagner a Lou Gehrig Josh Gibson Babe Ruth Ted Williams and Jackie Robinson super glue them on a blank canvas and paint clear seal over them and call it art
This dude ruined the bats and balls. His best bet would be to find a buyer that values what he’s done or break up and sell all the autographed cards
Can’t wait until someone brings in a My Buddy doll. Then we can play a drinking game of taking a shot every time they say “my buddy”
Expert asks the man..what's the best piece you have in here?..wow, what an expert
That's where I'd go..PAWN shop
Wait are you suppose to sit on the glass top and lean on the bats. This is designed bad
He had a few Picassos but he turned them into a quilt
Name of this show should be called "let me call a buddy of mine"
He also has the called shot bat. Of course it's a pair of chopsticks now.
Gamer George this breaks my heart
If I had the money I would buy that right there and then. I love baseball and I’m also a dodgers fan so this would have great baseball history along with the greatest players in Dodgers history especially Jackie Robinson
That’s most likely why you don’t have the money.
I have no idea or care about baseball at all and I felt the pain seeing these stuff drilled.
He really thought bolting the signed baseballs and bats would make it cooler it looks super nice I’ll admit but don’t use THE PRIZED ITEMS
What was he thinking?! Good god.
He said art piece 😂
Bet he still has it.
And here i thought Rick was going to low ball him. This time it was the expert.
When the evaluation is 10'000 and rick doesnt offer half or less than half its work way more lmao
My boy devalued it big time.
😮Wow.........
Same video on yesterday.
I would buy it, i got $40k
This segment is old already.. I saw this like 6-8 months ago.. why is it just being posted now?
I'm surprised chum didn't get hit with one of those bats by saying they're garbage
They pretty much are garbage after the dude drilled holes in it
Obviously a day-drinker...
Don't threaten me with a good time.
This guy had a gold mine and brought it down to copper. Turning valuable baseball memorabilia in to furniture was very dumb move. I would have left everything alone and sold it at a premium.
Oh well he's Lindsey Buckingham, he's rich he can do what he wants.
It would be good for Ripleys Believe it or not
normal pawshop
Pawn stars that add some tv company
These makes me mad
Spencer Hinder why
Please youtube Unban my account :c
their stupidity also angers me
What he should have done actually is, put the screws through all of the signed cards also...that would be awesome
I‘f like to know how much they would pay for the stuff out of my hands. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Hallo? Is this hi I was told it was
@@kristinemetzger6386 yes it is.
Tom you can be proud of yourself for making a Dodgers collection into a furniture piece but you damaged the Bats and the Baseballs by putting a drill through all of it. That’s really careless. Sports Memorabilia they have to be in a condition to where it can be sold. And plus it has to b broken down to actually get buyers. So you basically screwed yourself over with making a bench out of Dodgers collectibles
Sell it to The Dodgers, you berk.
Right... I bet a vet or rookie Dodger would offer at least 50k.
@@rickygarcia7478 It'd look great in their clubhouse/stadium
The guy had art, then made it into trash (drilling holes), then tried to make it art again 🤦♂️
He sold it for 75k
He drilled a hole through that 60k and got a quarter worth in return
why a bench though? not like a collector is going to sit on it and use the coffee table. i'd rather take the seat of the bench and coffee table and hang it up somehow. and drilling the holes in the bats and baseballs was just dumb. again, you could easily just hang all those up on your wall in a huge man cave if you're a die hard Dodgers fan. i understand he was trying to make something unique maybe for a team, but selling it third market is just not going to happen.
"One of king art piece"
You ruined almost everything. Who in their right mind would drill half inch holes through all of that. Smh.
Darryl Philbin kind *
That guy was an idiot to drill those holes in those bats I didn't even watch this whole episode when I saw that I just they even want to watch the rest of it I knew what was going to happen
The expert sounded like he was gonna puke lol
That’s was the worst thing I have ever seen. It has to be very uncomfortable to sit on. Not to mention kinda stupid to sit on expensive autographs. The coffee table I get. You’ll look at it while sitting stuff on it but not something you sit on
Why not sell to Dodgers?
Did anyone notice donald trump in the cards bench
I can offer you five dollars and I’m taking a risk there
Did chum lee get veneers
He got some kind of thing. There's so many options, you can't narrow it down to veneers unless you ask him. It looks good though.
Yes and he didn’t even make the bolts or allthread hidden or use cooler looking acorn nuts on the ends. Looks ugly
why would you drill holes in the bats and balls kinda stupid actually
That thing looked hideous.
0:22 who cares
There was no need to design the bench in a way that required drilling through the bats and balls. That guy deserves to lose money on this mistake.
crazy an artists that not only reined a bunch of memorabilea but also over values his aret ...im sooooo shocked ...not
Dodger players are rolling in their graves
Ok, so your saying drilling into a baseball is bad even though your going to put it onto a wall, not even play with it. Actually pretty stupid ngl
Way to ruin great memorabilia dude.
First!
What a joke world champion champion chip who else is playing except US teams
Cheaters!!
looks like garbage to me says the Giants fan 😂
I bet the dodgers might be interested
This is the same type of person who heats/shapes beatles records into chip bowls.
Only if they're signed records.
dumb analogy.
You turn something you cherish into a bench that you sit on huh interesting
This guy is DUMMMMMBBBBB to damage baseball memorabilia like that.
there's would have been a way to make something similar w/o the hole drilling
Shot himself in the foot
I must be the only person In the world that likes this lol
John Galbraith If you like that I have a Orel Hershiser jersey with a bunch of punk rock patches sewn onto it
@@deltahomicide9300 and why on earth would i like that?
It’s garbage 100% pure garbage even garbage would say it’s garbage
@@fucker4166 yeah but you're a troll so your opinion doesn't count
John Galbraith oh ok all hail John the king of UA-cam
