Journaling has been a great way to work through my feelings and anxiety. It's also a great way to express my creativity 💕 (gabby_olivari on Instagram!)
You probably dont care at all but does anybody know of a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Landyn Nathan I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Journaling has helped calm me down and feel heard. It's helped with my anxiety by taking thoughts out of my mind and letting me hold them somewhere external. Journaling has helped with me feeling gaslit by family members by allowing me a place to return to and check the events of the day to confirm a more objective account of events as they happened vs. how what they're trying to make it seem happened. Journaling create better future maps by allowing me to visualize the nonlinear career and personal goals I have for myself.
Journaling has been very powerful for me. Probably the most amazing thing that happened by journaling was writing down how I wanted my life to look when I was 18 years old and Going through a very difficult period of my life. I wrote down what I wanted my life to look like and didn’t think about it and came across that journal entry five or six years right later and realized that most of what I had written down had come to pass and I had become the person that I wanted to be. Another thing I did after a terrible break up was right down 100 qualities that my true love would have. I talked it in a pocket of my planner and kept it around for about three years. When I met my husband I remembered that I still had that list and pulled it out to look at it. Before we had even met, he fulfilled nearly 70 of the qualities out of thehundred I had chosen at the time. Because several years had passed there were other aspects on that list that were no longer important to me but the ones that were important he fulfilled. To me, journaling has always been a potent way for me to manifest what I want in my life even if I am not consciously thinking about it. @vibrancenutrition
I started journaling at as a little kid. The number of journals I have written in over a dozen. Several years ago, a friend showed me a cool way of adding sticker, quotes, etc. into my journal. Then a few years ago, my mother started doing bullet journaling. And I love it! It can take a lot of time if I want it to, or it can be really simple. But I've found that if I take the time to do something creative in it, it's extremely helpful for my mental health.
journalling has really been my creative outlet. i'm usually very busy during the week, so i don't get a lot of time to sit and create things. but when the weekend rolls around, i get some time to myself to just doodle or desgin a new spread and it really gives me time to just reflect and prepare for what's ahead
I've always dabbled with painting and drawing as a kid. And I always tried to keep a journal and failed with consistency. Discovering Journaling allowed me to practice my creativity on a daily basis, however I wanted! No rules or boundaries. And at the end of my first year of Journaling everyday I have such a great deal of accomplishment 😀
journaling has been a part of my life since i was 13, but it wasn't until this year that i learned how to do it in a constructive way. its always been something so introspective, but for a long time that could easily spiral into simmering in what made me miserable. doing therapy this year taught me how to reflect in a way that made me see my day in different ways, and i've really fell in love with it again
I started journaling in February this year to keep an emotional and mental check on myself, between starting the last phase of my master's degree and the start of the pandemic I was in complete chaos mentally. Journaling helps me stay grounded and rational
Bullet journaling is helping me get my head and heart clear and organized. There's something about the page being physically there without needing a charged battery or screen protector, that helps me focus. I love my bujo - tho it really doesn't resemble yours... Much to my chagrin. Your art is beautiful and ever so appreciated. Thank you for your content and approach - the kindness shows in your choices, perspectives and voice even. Stay safe and happy holidays 🤗
I first started bullet journaling in undergrad when I couldn't find a planner that suited my needs. I learned quickly how nice it was to have a place for all of my thoughts, from homework, to poem ideas for my creative writing classes, and even informal language lessons from friends. What I include every year changes a little but I like cataloging and recording my years and seeing the things that matter to me now versus what mattered then and having a place to center and ground myself when I feel myself spiraling.
Lovely set up! I love the colours and the idea of a rising sun for the opening to the year. I do wish more people knew the line "Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise" was written by Herbert Kretzmer, the English lyricist for Les Mis, as the quote is solely from the musical and never appeared in the book by Victor Hugo! It is a wonderful quote and sentiment and I feel we should credit the man who wrote it ❤️
Journaling to me is a way to legitimize my emotions. Everyday I squish my emotions down to please other people and dont take a moment to feel my emotions. I work in retail, and I can't show that I am upset when someone is cussing me out for something that is out of my hands. It helps me keep track of events and things that have happened in my life as well. I have the memory of a goldfish, and it's nice to go back and see what I was doing a few years ago. Journaling also helps keep me on task with my daily tasks. I work 54 hours a week and I go to school full time so journaling helps me keep track of what I need to do everyday. The last thing is, journaling is an artistic outlet for me as well. It alleviates the stress of the day and gives me something else to focus on.
I journaled on and off this last year. I had a baby in July, my state spent half the year burning down, plus every other emotional thing that happened this year. I found that even writing a few sentences down helped keep me focused. My goal is to do more this year. Your painting is beautiful!
MAAAJOR Bob Ross vibes from this video. I have been journaling the past couple of months to remember how I felt while taking care of patients during COVID. This app is super cool!!
Since starting dental school, journaling has been my stress reliever and happy distracting. It’s been therapeutic whenever I’m anxious in school. It’s been the best part of 2020 for me :)
Journaling has helped me keep track of everything. I have so much to do and can never remember what that is. And writing everything down keeps me calm and centered
Your setup turned out beautiful! Reminded me of the quote 'The sun will rise and we will try again.' Sadly I have no clue who said that. However, how did journaling impact my life? It helps me to be more aware of my needs, what makes me happy and to be mindful to not take on too much.
This theme is really beautiful. I am no where near this artistic, but love watching your videos. They are so relaxing and calming. I also switched to a B5 notebook for my new bujo and you’re channel is one of the only ones that uses the same size!
I can't do artistic journaling. I can't even set up journaling weekly... and I did only 6 months. That app is similar to what I used but better, I might try it. It's so nice to watch what you do and you look so calm 😊 the painting is beautiful and so inspiring!
Whoa. This is so beautiful! I love the color combination and the sense of hopefulness that exudes from it. Journaling has helped my mental health for many years. I love to write and that is my easiest way of expressing myself. Journaling for me is like an additional form of therapy that brings me lots of clarity.
Journalling has helped me document my process over the past year. It has helped massively with realising how transient my emotions are and feel hopeful when going through a difficult time.
this is so beautiful and simple! i love the complete circle notion from your december to january set ups; it’s really inspiring and made me feel hopeful for the new year 💖💖
This was so beautiful and peaceful. That’s really what I hope to get from journaling, and a sense of organization and maybe little moments of creativity.
Thank you for recommending that app!!!💙💙💙 I journal everyday or every other day on what happened during each day and choose at least one good thing that happened every day.
Would love to see you do a review of Paperblanks dot grid planners in hard and soft covers. Their designs are beautiful and no one talks about them in the bullet journey world. I just started BuJo and they are the only company I have found with a B5 (they call it ultra) with good gsm, and 240 pages. No I don’t work for them, but I do 💗 them.
i started journaling recently but i noticed that journaling daily helps me stay calm, helps to remember things more, save memories, also helps me be more thoughtful about the events that happen in my life 💜 (twt: ourmoas)
Beautiful as always but I love, love, love the painted tabs. I haven’t be brave enough to cut Dutch doors or tabs but who knows maybe 2021 I’ll go out of my comfort zone too.
Thank you for the opportunity to win. I am new to bullet journaling. Wish I had found it will I was taking care of my father to have everything in one place. But now it has helped me to understand that I can now take care of myself. As I have been stuck in the “take care if dad” mode after 10 years of doing that , and he passed almost 4 years ago. Writing things in my journal and marking time for myself has really helped me to get back to my family and friends. Thank you for your channel I love watching you it is so calming.
Have you ever done a font video? I tried finding one but was unsuccessful. Your cursive is so delicate and perfect I would love to try and emulate ❤️❤️
I love this! The big painting is so amazing and watching her do it felt like magic before my eyes! I love the bold colours in this set up and the detail with the coloured tabs was so genius. Beautiful quotes too, this almost makes me want to have a bullet journal myself 😂
I love journaling! It’s helped me to become more self-aware. I love doing “brain dumps” and getting everything out on paper. This year.. I have focused on my mental health. It’s been a journey and I’m grateful! I quit social media in April, so I don’t have any handles, but you can always message me on UA-cam.
Gorgeous painting!!! What music have you been using in your videos recently? Everything has been so serene and calming, I’d love to play it for meditation or sleep!
So beautiful 😍😍 When you talked about coming out your comfort zone, that really resonated with me bc I want to do that with my bujo this year. You really inspire me, keep up the excellent work 😁😁
This is stunning and has pushed me, even more, to learn to watercolour properly. do you have a video that introduces us to your tabs? I like the idea of them, are they just used for journaling on each day?
I really loved what you created and i recreated quite many from your journal. My kind regard, it would be very much helpful if you could share your reference pictures.
As a nonnative English speaker I often have a hard time following what you are saying in the intro and outro of your videos, so I really liked when your took time to show us how the app was working, because you speak slower than usual when you are on your phone 😅 (notice that your voice-over is always perfect, never had any trouble following you in that part of your videos !)
So so gorgeous 😍😍 I don’t know how you have the patience to make such beautifully detailed art! 😂 But it definitely looks like it’s worth it for the final product!
journaling helped me have more focus, be more productive and most impprtantly, helped me understand myself better, it is truly lifechanging :') i'm not entering the giveway bc i'm an android user (for fellow androiders out there i recently found the app grid diary and it has some similarities to jour) but i still wanted to answer the question and tell you how beautiful the january theme is, the sunrise eased my mind and i will give it a try once i feel more comfortable with my watercolors, thanks for another wonderful video!

Journaling really helped boost my creativity and get mentally organized and clear!
I wish I could journal as well but it doesn't really work for me...
Honestly, it didn't work for me either in the beginning.. my mind is always so messy and so much goes on but it slowly improves, I guess.

I just started journaling earlier this year and it has helped me stay organized. I love keeping the index and locating my motes quickly.
Journalling allows me to put down on paper what I am thinking and obsessing over so that I can carry out day to day tasks without perseverating.
MAAAJOR Bob Ross vibes from this video. I have been journaling the past couple of months to remember how I felt while taking care of patients during COVID. This app is super cool!!

Those snowy trees... 😱 It almost looks like a photograph. Awesome ❤️
God I love it when you use watercolour, always such smooth gradients

Just stunning. And a beautiful counterpoint to your December set up. I love it, it’s hopeful, and we all need hopeful rn.
Possibility is my power word for 2021! ❤️
Oh, I have the same metallic set. Love them. Great clouds - trust the process!
I love this theme. The color palette is so calming.
This is GORGEOUS! Stunning. I think I may borrow that weekly idea in a future month with the tabs n such. Love it!
Yay for going out of your comfortzone, these colours are beautiful!!

A fantastic theme for Jan 2021. Love everything
This was so beautiful and peaceful. That’s really what I hope to get from journaling, and a sense of organization and maybe little moments of creativity.
Your water color theme for January 2021 is stunning.
I absolutely love the videos where you paint. You make art and you are art 💕
i love the tab cutouts! totally doing that to mark my months
Journaling made me like remember the things I felt like I should do this second and the next second i used to forget
I feel like the silver watercolor is gonna be the replacement for the gold watercolor we had for 2020.
Thank you for recommending that app!!!💙💙💙 I journal everyday or every other day on what happened during each day and choose at least one good thing that happened every day.
This is my favorite painting of yours yet! The colors are just beautiful!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE! The sun rise, the trees, the colors. 🙏🏾 Even the tabs 🙂
Thank you! 🥰
Journaling helps me remember and I feel nostalgic looking back on what I wrote. I love the feeling!
Your beautiful header painting reminded me so much of a Bob Ross style 😍

your cursive handwriting is honestly so beautiful!
Thank you for a beautiful spread idea and wow what a beautiful lipstick shade! You wear it well!!! 🥰
Your first theme of 2021 is very nice, tender and definitely optimistic. I think it's a good beginning ;)
I'm just inloved in your color palette! ❤️
Bullet journaling has been great for my anxiety. When I first started, I kept my bujo next to me like a security blanket.
i started journaling recently but i noticed that journaling daily helps me stay calm, helps to remember things more, save memories, also helps me be more thoughtful about the events that happen in my life 💜 (twt: ourmoas)
I may steal this theme (adapted for my lower level of artistic skill) and that quote!
Beautiful as always but I love, love, love the painted tabs. I haven’t be brave enough to cut Dutch doors or tabs but who knows maybe 2021 I’ll go out of my comfort zone too.
It’s so beautiful :-) I love the color palette. I’m going to try it too :) though I may try to simplify the main painting
Lovely painting. Cool journal app. Good use for random thoughts. Your voice is so soothing. ❤️

Watercolor 😍😍 I want to try this in my bullet journal setup. My January theme is pastel rainbow and I love that I shared it on my channel.
Gorgeous painting!!! What music have you been using in your videos recently? Everything has been so serene and calming, I’d love to play it for meditation or sleep!
Absolutely love this illustration! The colours are gorgeous.
Before journaling I didn’t know where my time was going but now I have a visual reference as to what happened last week, month.
journaling helped me to controle my anxiety levels and, of course, being more organized and focused
So beautiful 😍😍 When you talked about coming out your comfort zone, that really resonated with me bc I want to do that with my bujo this year. You really inspire me, keep up the excellent work 😁😁
This theme is GORGEOUS!!!
My goodness Elizabeth, you did the thing. This set up is so gorgeous. Love it.
Love the tab idea! Might use it for my own january set up 😁
These paintings are so, so beautiful! Really gives that warm, hopeful feeling we want to manifest for 2021. ☺
This is stunning and has pushed me, even more, to learn to watercolour properly. do you have a video that introduces us to your tabs? I like the idea of them, are they just used for journaling on each day?
Oh wait, I watched again and you said you have been doing it for three months. I will go and look at your oct/nov vid 😊
How talented u are....💯
Your lettering and drawings are just BEAUTIFUL... I loved it 💞.... This is One of my favourite drawings from you💖
I really loved what you created and i recreated quite many from your journal. My kind regard, it would be very much helpful if you could share your reference pictures.

This layout is beautiful!! Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful! Love the contrast of the watercolor with the minimal black/white/classic script weeklies. Love it!
this is my favorite theme ive ever seen
Such a positive, lovely theme.
So so gorgeous 😍😍 I don’t know how you have the patience to make such beautifully detailed art! 😂 But it definitely looks like it’s worth it for the final product!
Gaw🤤 all that color but still winter I’m in love!
We love a Les Mis quote page!!!
Yes we do! 👏
That's a really gorgeous color palette! I'm happy to see it :)
I'm really bummed that Jour is only available for apple, I hope they make an android version this upcoming year
Love the colour palette on this one!
journaling helped me have more focus, be more productive and most impprtantly, helped me understand myself better, it is truly lifechanging :') i'm not entering the giveway bc i'm an android user (for fellow androiders out there i recently found the app grid diary and it has some similarities to jour) but i still wanted to answer the question and tell you how beautiful the january theme is, the sunrise eased my mind and i will give it a try once i feel more comfortable with my watercolors, thanks for another wonderful video!
Is there a video where you show how to create the tabs?
Woow so many nice colours so nice .. lovely❤️❤️❤️
Journaling has been an amazing experience for me! I have never been able to keep up with a planner or anything like that, but once I started bullet journaling, I actually can keep up with things. I also love how therapeutic it is when I do my setups.
You can find me on Twitter @spargelsaftchic
This is so beautiful and you made it look so easy!
This feels so joyful, it gives me hope for 2021 :)
I think one of your future spreads should be a French theme for headings. :)
I loved the concept, like a calm sunset, and your lettering seems amazing to me🖤
I love the colours in this ☺
Did you use the same brush, wash and dry each time? I think this set up is beautiful but this would take 2 hours just for the cover page... probably too exhausting for me to do all month but absolutely stunning and loved to see this! Haven't seen bullet journaling for months. I wish I could still get monthly stickers! (Too hard to write down all 12 months as well!)
