Excellent thank for giving more understanding how to setup my Hive app, unfortunately my gas fitter who fitted my new boiler said I don’t have a clue how to use the app🤔. Very buzzard, I think he couldn’t wait to leave the job😂

why does the manual mode not keep my heating on. once its reached target temp the boiler turns off and then radiators go cold. how to keep the heating on constantly if required ?

How do you get to the screen you started with? The only info I can see is via manage Devices, and for the zone the only thing it lets you set is holiday mode.
Just moved into our new house. It has the hive thermostat but i cant figure out how to connect to the app as the controller is not available in the app. Only a white box. Do i need to buy something else to use the app?

I have a question, I am still learning how to use my Hive, if it is on in Schedule mode how do I turn it off if it is getting too hot without turning it to off mode then it wont come back on at the next scheduled time?
Cheers this was very helpful. I notice that your set back time is degrees during the day but do you leave your set back time from 10pm till your morning schedule at 7degrees or have you got it slightly higher so the heating doesnt need to work as hard to get to your morning temp? thank you
Here one for you. I had hive for a few months. I set the schedule fine, but it recently been changing the schedule by itself. Basically doesn't seem to store what I set it too. It adds additional time slots and it completely different times Why?
You say if the WiFi is off to then revert to using the usual handset in the house. How would that be possible since it would have been all sis on and void now as the hive will be the only thing wired in?
How the hell do you add a spouse? You get all the way to the invitation and it says to put their name. How will that send an invite, no email or phone number?
Barry I set my hive from 08:30 to 22:45 on the Saturday but for some reason it shoes Sunday. Why is this happening when I have set the time for the Saturday and not Sunday?
Yes I can not use the schedule at all, it always wants to change the end time to be the next day. I basically want my heating off from 1am to 7am and on the rest of the time but can not do it
So the reason is because you only have one time for the whole day, so you need to set another schedule for that day for it to be off. So set it from 8:30 - 22:45 at 20° and then 22:45 - 06:00 the next day at 10° or something similar. I know it’s probably way too late for you, but just incase anyone else see’s this!

Quick Question - after setting the schedules on the app, where do we leave the switch on the Vaillant Boiler? ON, or TIMER? (I am assuming not OFF).

Just turn it down and it will reset at the next on period
Can’t get my hive app on iPhone 6 to pair with thermostat. Batteries working, flashing amber, still no joy. Any tips?
I get so confused when setting it from eg, Wednesday morning then the end setting off the day seems to run into the following day?
My hive just keeps saying offline on my phone buy it is showing a solid green light on my box 🤷♂️ any help ?

Any ideas about the app saying it's offline (the hive hub), it's blaming my broadband, but yet here I am making this comment 😂👌
