Thank you so much for your words, much appreciated! Sure, it would definitely do well as you have grown directly in ground. Container plants need more attention...
Your video was very informative and helpful! I had a gorgeous mandevilla last year that dropped all of its leaves and didn’t rebloom. I think part of the problem was that my soil didn’t have enough sand and didn’t drain well. I appreciate you providing the breakdown of materials needed for the soil and fertilizer. Thank you!!!
Hi, thanks for this video. I didn't understand well what you was saying about the water. Do the Mandeville needs a lot of water? I hope you can answer me. Thank you. You have some wonderful flowers
@Sylvia Manning, You are most welcome and thank you so much for watching and for your words:-) The answer is - they don't need lots of water like many other plants, for example, Hibiscus, Morning glory etc. So, please allow top 1-2 inch soil dry out before watering. Most of my plants get get whole day of Sunlight and sometimes I need to water my Hibiscus plants twice - once in Morning and once in afternoon. But Mandevilla is happy with a watering schedule of every alternate day or daily when temp is too high (something like 95°F). Hope that helps and thank you :-) .
@@GardeningUpbeat Thank you so much for answering me. Your answer is big help for me. I like to watch your videos because you explain everything in detail. Thanks again
Beautiful video 🤩 I have the yellow one but it's not Blooming, will work on it as you said . That white Mandeville looks amazing 😃 I don't know why I have a wierd type of attraction towards white and blue color flowers 😍 🤭
I had a ball of red madevilla. And for some reason too much rain and the vase didn’t have drain holes. So when I realized it has too much water and the plant was wilting and the leaf was all ready dry. I immediately put some holes to drain it. But it look so dry now I try to salvage it but let see what happens. So sad because it was beautiful flower which all my neighbors adores.
Sorry to know that n hope your plant revives well, they are just like babies! Glad to hear you are taking care of them, all the best 👍 Having drainage holes is must for any container plants 👍
I loved your video about the Mandavilla. I loved my yellow plant very much. My. Neighbors did too . I want to know if I need to cut it back in the fall? Mine is 15 ft tall and done blooming. I live in Florida. Do I need to buy. New o e?
Thank you so much for your kind words, highly appreciated but I am sorry for the late response! Sure, you can cut back in the fall as in Winter growth stops, leaves fall off and vine would look empty as it's 15 ft tall (that's great in BTW). In Spring, it would start new vines and would look much better! Thank you once again for watching from Florida, TC :-)
Hi! very nice video has been shared covering all points. Recently, i bought one mandevilla in Delhi from the nursery. On planting the plant the leaves, flower buds, shoots all have dried up may be due to high heat. Please help as how it can be revived? can its stem be cut so that by propagation the plant can be saved
As far as I know the plant prefers semi-shady environment with indirect sunlight. Needs watering only after the soil is dry. You can try using fungicide to revive the plant. Check the drainage system too. Make sure the water easily passes through the holes.
Finally o found a vine so beautiful.. Simply woww🤩.I love the pink ones more! I am going to buy this one omg... Can't wait for my exams to get over to rush to my local nursery 🤣 are there seeds easily available in nurseries?
My Dipladenia is already established and fairly large....in a12-14" pot. Is it till possible to somehow get that pole or something similar into the pot without destroying the plant? thankyou
That's great to hear and size of pot looks nice too..Sure, you can definitely use a Pole or even stick at this time. Of course, some roots would get damaged but it won't create lots of issues. If you are too much worried, avoid inserting the pole or stick to near to the base of the plant. Wish you all the best!
Thank you very much for your feedback! Sorry to say that, I haven't found the seeds yet. But live plants are available here (in case you are from my place) - exoticflora.in/products/thunbergia-mysorensis-creepers-climbers Please also note that, so far I haven't bought any live plant from them. So, really not sure about the quality. Sorry once again!

Hey! Please suggest me some tips.. 1. I have a white Mandevilla plant in a pot. Its leaves have shed down from its one and only stem that was climbing. Now there is no signs of growth. 2. Also, I have a pink Mandevilla plant which is showing no sign of growth. The plant is very small with only one stem which was also been broken from up by mistake 10-15 days ago. Please help me...
@Mayank Kumar, Whatever you are facing now, it's absolutely normal (I have also shown the same thing in the video) For example, if you take a look at 3:10, almost same thing happened with my plant and it's because of Winter, absolutely normal. But again, plz take a look at 3:28, plant is slowly growing and it was recorded at the end of Feb. Then again, plz take a look at 3:40. Here you can see lots of new buds and it was recorded in March end. Actually, almost all plants go through dormancy period and it's totally natural. If you fertilize your plants now or even repot them again with fresh soil, your both plants would start growing well (as they would start growing from now onwards). This is the reason why I have shown updates of almost 1 year. Actually, I also need to work on my plants for this year blooms and I would do very soon. Good luck and hope I have answered to your query :-)
