I can understand people buying into this in the 80s but the fact it's coming back this hard is astounding. I see these posts all over social media.

Maybe that's because we are in the UK, and there are so many different religions, on a very small island
Of course the trashy newspapers had a field day, and we did have a whole nursery thing, which turned out to be fake, but, believe me, we were aware that the devil 👿 makes for good publicity, and music 🎶, as we are today x
There will always people who believe that the devil told them to torture pets, rape, murder, maim, but there are also the ones who think their neighbours dog told them to do it
@@fone9665this is true, but one must wonder why "The Devil Told me to makes headlines while Jesus told me to or God told me too, which is just as common in crime involving mental illness, is barely a blip on the radar.
I should be clearer when I tell these stories that is was known widely as "Satanic Panic" in the 1980s as it was happening. Not everyone in the US bought and a lot of the efforts to fight it took place as it was happening.

I grew up in Fall River. I was a freshman at Diman Regional Vocational High School when Doreen’s body was found under the bleachers. Utter chaos ensued after that. It was a terrifying time.

Robin Murphy has already confessed to lying about Carl Drew's involvement in the Fall River murders. Robin was and is a prolific liar. The evidence, and new info points to Andy Maltais as being a serial killer back then. Carl Drew was a major criminal back then, but it didn't make him a murderer. Robin was paroled, and showed her true colors. Busted, and back in prison. She's not getting out. Carl deserves a new trial so all this comes before the courts again. He got shafted by Robin.
Has anyone contacted the Innocence Project? I know they've helped with many exonerations...
I believe there was an organization helping Carl a few years ago, but his motion for retrial was denied and the evidence they presented in that hearing can't be used to file another one. He'll need new evidence that is tough to come by given the time period
@@HawKNLoaD gotcha. Very interesting case that's for sure! I am a huge fan of true crime stories. We've had a few in my neck of the woods...I live in Albany, New York. I also work for NYS's department of corrections in the library department. I have read many, many cases and holy shit people are unreal!! Your channel is very enjoyable. I am also a huge metal fan, so your channel fits perfectly into my watching habits...lol...thank you...

I'm sorry, dude. I thought your channel was established by Carl himself. I'll totally link to you at the top of the description if that would make amends. Or I can cut it out entirely, but I do credit your channel as a source of information on the case in the conclusion section of the video.
It sucks how much you and other channels that cover true crime content have to sensor.
