Honestly the culture needa stop paying that $8 a month for that app and let URL feel it. They can't keep treating human beings so badly and still get to make all this money. We have the power as fans to make them feel it. You can't copy respect, but you can definitely lose it.
Smack is simply trying to make money back, for battlers demanding so much money to battle. The likes of Tsu Surf, Mook, Lux, etc. created this ceiling of getting paid high amounts of money, which caused a domino effect. Every vet will demand similar numbers, which doesn't pan out in ticket sales to even out the payouts. So now, charging $8 a mo reaches a larger fanbase, because everyone can watch the battle from across the country. AND, we're not even including the global audience.
Let's say you have 20k who have the app , that's damn near $200k in profit for URL a mo. And multiply that by 12mos, you get over a million annually. It's a business, so I get it. The only problem here, is that after a month, the battles should be uploaded to YT for free. Because you've already made the profit for the month of subscriptions. THAT'S how you keep everyone happy.

He booked them knowing the risk because he knew he’d make money. He could’ve reached out to numerous other artists and had no issue.
