      Yesssssss Chrissy !!! U got this . Be sure to make a trial batch that’s for yourself &family first . Try it so u can be comfortable & know what not to do when making the batch to sell . I think u could do 1/2 cup less of water so the drying down part takes less time for u . & please don’t do like me & take it off the fire before it’s completely dry out lol .look at my coconut drops recipe to see exactly how much it should dry down before you drop them to cool . What u use to store them to prevent ants when drying them

    • @dreascuriouscuisine
      @dreascuriouscuisine  3 роки тому +2

      I normally just leave them just like that using a piece of the grease paper to cover them if I’m leaving them overnight … but most times I make them during the day & I leave them open like that on the counter to dry , no ants don’t normally mess with them . But if u have that problem I’d say catch some water in a little bowl & then put a cup or something that’s wide enough for the tray to balance on it while it’s sitting inside the bowl of water & put the tray of peanut drops on that( so it would be standing ontop of the cup that’s in the bowl of water ) … the ants won’t climb in the bowl of water to get to the drops lol so that should protect them just fine 😉. Thank u so much for watching . God bless u

      Hi !!U are going to hav to roast them ... so put a pot on the fire ..put the fire on low ... don’t put anything in the pot .. let it warm (or u can put the peanuts in it & let it warm up with them in the pot). When it’s hot then occasionally stir the peanuts .. you should see the red akin start falling off .. not a lot .. u have u be storing them with a spoon quite a bit.. some of them u may have to just take them off with ur hand when majority of them are done . Hello me friend me try everything that me see u do but something wrong cause it always a stick on the paper. Is what you spray on it?

    • @dreascuriouscuisine
      @dreascuriouscuisine  2 роки тому +1

      Hey delroy 😊 , first thing did u give it a full day to dry ? Sometimes you have to do that , especially if u didn’t let it dry all the way down ( I didn’t do that in the video , so u should let it dry down more. No liqiud in the pot ). Next thing , I sprayed some oil on the paper . Just to spritz it so it can come off easy . But if you do use parchment paper ( we say grease paper in Jamaica ) then even if u don’t spare any oil , it shouldn’t stick on the paper to the point where it’s a struggle to take up . I. Going to send you the link to the coconut drops so u can see how much it should really dry down before you drop the peanut drops , just that this will b coconut 😉. All the best next time Delroy , thanks for watching . God bless you . Here’s the link for the coconut drops ua-cam.com/video/Kdqqf_4F-cc/v-deo.html

    • @dreascuriouscuisine
      @dreascuriouscuisine  3 роки тому

      My apologies Wendy , it was coconut oil , but it’s not necessary so that’s why I didn’t say anything . Once u allow the liquid to dry out of the pot with the peanut drops more than I did then it’s fine , it will come off the tray once they are dried . In my “ COCONUT DROPS “ video that was the perfect example of how dried out it should be before u drop them , I was kinda impatient lol . & it’s easier too if u drop them on grease paper / parchment paper; that way u definately don’t need the oil 😉Thanks so much for watching Wendy , God bless u .
