Good, Bill, glad you do vids on all these little "fiddly bits' tasks, as well as the "big important stuff" like suspension, brakes, engine, etc. Those small things make the difference between an old ride that is a "joy" to drive and one that is "plain annoying" each time you get in the beast!! :D

That is a video we considering doing recently but the main issue is visibility. If you have ever worked on the lock rods you know its hard to see them period, let alone get a camera in there. Maybe I will see if I can find an old rusted door and cut it up to make it visible.
That would be a bonus especially for me I don't have fingers on my hands, they're all thumbs

Thanks for the great tutorials! Soooo, I broke the bottom clips on BOTH sides!!! How do I get new bottom clips? Does CJ have them, and or can they be replaced?! Uggh!
Do you have any videos on how to take off door exterior door handle for a 2002 Ford Mustang ?
I did this and now my door wont open, the button on the outside is hard to push in and the handle on the inside wont open the door. I had to release the clip releasing the rod so i can open the door, what am i doing wrong?

My mustang just randomly stopped opening from the outside, but opens from the inside. The door handle button feels like their is no spring to it.
You think if I just replace the outside door handle the issue would be fixed ?
It’s just not opening from the outside, but from the inside it opens fine.
I just swapped mine out for this exact reason.
Opens from outside now.
I think my issue was the little screw that holds the hinge to the handle worked it’s way out.
Is the passenger side pretty much the same as to what hole you put the rod in,the inside not the outside 🤔
This is fine for the 68 Mustang but there is not enough room to get a socket in to loosen the nut on the door handle. There is only enough room for your fingers to touch the thread but you can't move your hands to get proper control. Please show how to do this on a 69 Mustang.
What would you do if the door doesn’t open from outside or inside. It used to open from inside but not outside but now it will not open either way. 67 mustang
Hey Bill, where can you get the Arm Rests that are on this car? You begin removing it at 1:40 in the video.

Is there a video showing how to overhaul the door latch and door lock rods? The passenger door on my mustang won't open from the outside. I'm sure it's just the little plastic clip is broke. Your videos always add a nice boost of confidence before tearing into a part of the car I've never worked on before. Thanks for taking the time to make these!!

I'm having a very difficult time removing the clip at the bottom of the rod....
They sometimes get bent and can be quite stubborn. Pulling up on the handle can sometimes make it a little easier.
