I really hope Cornholio decides to stay home. Another encounter with a dog would be devastating. He’s older now and those dogs are so big. Chia runs around everywhere but I’m thinking she wouldn’t harm Cornholio
Lester, it would be good if you taught LE and Megan bith how yo change out the toilet parts, someday you won’t be here to come do it. My husband taught me so many things I’m grateful
When I done horse shows we would braid our horses hair. Sometimes I would go out and braid to just braid. It would give me peace and comfort. And it would bond the horse with me.
An answer to your braiding question Lester. I do know that the Spaniards and conquistadors used to braid their horses tails and mains before they went into battle. They believed it would make them go faster. It was a velocity thing, so I think with Uriel is just a personal preference And more about aesthetics which is very cool because you have to admit when he puts that saddle blanket on Buckys and gets those leg wraps on along with that saddle and has him go around that round pin he is stunning so it might be all there is to it, but I wish you would ask him so that we could all knowI love watching him work the horses his love really shines through and I believe that’s why they’re so good for him that they know
In the uk we normally only platt when showing etc but Jamie is right it's a bonding thing with your horse 🐎 also look up the Spanish riding school horses Lipazanner, the breed lipazen is born completely black but matures to be white they are beautiful 😍
Hi Lester & Jami. Lester you raised a very good question regarding the braiding of a horses mane and tail. In doing a bit of research it appears the practice goes back hundreds of thousands of years when horses were first used for work and transportation. It’s said that Europe started the braiding of the mane to keep it from getting tangled up in belt buckles, buttons, harnesses.. etc. they also say that the practice is attributed to the Elf theory. LOL.. the tale was not regularly braided unless was one of great stature and owned by someone of power and wealth. Then there’s Portugal that has a celebration of the Horse where they braid the horses mane and tail in some pretty fantastic designs which has been a tradition for hundreds of years.
I think some people do it to keep the horse's mane (hair, lol) protected so it doesn't get ripped out on fencing or tangled. This helps to grow the mane longer. Thanks for sharing! Much ❤️ from Michigan 🌊
Poor Corny, is getting him a mate an option? I know historically he has endured a lot of loss. Or maybe LE can break out the old KC flip flops that Corny used to love so much lol? As far as the braiding I would think it's a caretaking/bonding/therapeutic thing❤🐴🪢

Lester, it would be good if you taught LE and Megan bith how yo change out the toilet parts, someday you won’t be here to come do it. My husband taught me so many things I’m grateful
The more personal time you spend with a horse, the more they will trust you ❤❤❤❤
I use to do my horses manes and tails. When horses are in “dressage” their mane and tails are always done.
Cornholio needs some new ladies.

Braiding horses hair also keeps their hair from getting in knots ❤
Braids look pretty and he does a great job. Anything with hair long enough to braid to keep it from knotting. What Jami said!! Bonding....lmao😅😅
