- Tallahassee, Florida has been in need of an updated skatepark for YEARS now and the city and @teampain1 came through in a MAJOR way!
I put this video together to showcase all of the different obstacles located in the park and tried to give each their own time to shine.
There's a snake run, a MASSIVE bowl, and an incredible linear street section that is full of rails (flat-down, a frame, rainbow rail, 16ft flat rail), kickers, hips, a bench... it's just such an incredible park, you need to check it out for yourself if you get a chance.

Great video, Matt! Ben and I posted videos of the park if you wanna check them out. It’s a lot of fun. Such a huge improvement over the old park.
My first thought was, "I wonder if you could pull yourself up using the snake jaw."

I really don’t think it’s possible. The sharpness of the transition is brutal, dropping into it from 13 feet up will be a hefty dental bill for whoever tries it
You can! It’s a steel skeleton underneath the fiberglass. But the drop-in is where the teeth fall out… human teeth, not the snakes hah
@@MattBurke820 I’m definitely thinking about it 🤔 next time I come out I’ll start at the bottom and see how high I can roll up it.
Honestly a skateboarder will definitely do it. It’d be easy to run up it with shoes on and stand with your board.

Rumor has it, there's a 13ft giant rattlesnake sometimes spotted there that has scales so hard, it is said to be 'made of cement'. Some claim to have spotted it breaking out of the skatepark's very concrete foundation coming out of the ground below.
I don't know though, I went there and didn't see it.

I agree wholeheartedly! The snake is super awkward and unable to be skated, so it's literally a $50k art installation that takes up about 1/3 of the skatepark... looks super cool, but I wish we had 50k worth of more skateable ground to use haha

FAMU is right down the street and the park is on FAMY Way and their mascot is a rattlesnake, so they put this massive rattlesnake breaking out of the ground and there's also the 'snake pit' underneath the little rainbow rail toward the end of the street section. A little shoutout to the local university since FSU owns the rest of the city hah
