    Reminds me abit of a danish dish my grandmom always made for me at the winter with mash potato and brown sauce and chucumber salat or pickles but that was pig/pork tail were she boiled them in water ofc hege with salt and sone black peppercorn 1-2 bayleafs 1-2 onions some time with some horseradish in it to boilded them fir about 30min, then she took them up the water saved the water for soup or sauce, then the dry the tails and put some salt on and then she put them in the oven on 180g for 1 hour or roasted them on a pan so the skin was crispy crunchy, then she made mashed potato or just boilded potato with fresh fine cuttet parsley or chives on, and then she made a sauce out if the boiling water, hmmm i loved it when she made that dish, its 1 of my favorit childhood memorys
