    ------------
    It’s a classic love story.
He was a Canon FD lens. She was a Fujifilm X camera. It seemed they had nothing in common.
It seemed that nothing could bring these two together.
Then along came Vello’s Lens Adapters, and a match was made.
The Vello Lens Adapter not only let these two love birds have their happily ever after, it also let them retain infinity focus capability.
And they lived happily ever after.

I bought one at b&h last week and when I plug it in, I see the picture but I can't take pictures, I press the button and nothing happens.

You probably figured out by now, but you have to set your camera settings to be able to shoot without detecting a lens.

Are you sure that the blades of the aperture closes when you shot? I think that the aperture is “locked” on the wide open setting all the way even if you set the aperture differently (e.g. on f16 you’ll get a f2 the same)

      Hi Gianluca,
When installing the adapter, you need to rotate the adapter’s locking ring to the open position. The locking ring must be in the open position before attaching and securing any lens. (As explained in the manual.)
      Thanks

Once the lens is mounted, does the open/lock ring stay in place? I've tried other adaptors where the ring is loose and is easy to turn by accident when shooting.
