Beautiful Downtown. Streets are so wide, I like how some of them are named for the different states. And that circle with the giant monument is awesome. That should be on money!
This was released (and presumably filmed) coming right off the craziness that is Christmas and New Years. I can promise you it’s not just an Indy thing. I was up in Chicago at the same time of this video’s release visiting some family that lives up there. Same story as what people are saying about Indianapolis in this video. Downtown was totally abandoned. Granted, it was also my first visit to Chicago since before covid, but I had never seen downtown Chicago absolutely deserted like that, and I grew up visiting Chicago regularly as a kid since we only lived a couple hours away. It was honestly downright creepy, since I’d only ever known Chicago as a busy city that never sleeps. It was just the time of year, that’s all I was able to chalk it up to.
to be COMPLETELY honest i PERMANENTLY really really LOVE you tube ALMOST as much as being a visitor/customer at downtown indianapolis

Context matters. This video will fool you. Between 11a-10pm on a summer day, downtown Nap is lit. Stop it.
