unlockable abilities is at default does not work in ranked, even any bonus stats does not work, and no way to turn them on in ranked. Only aesthetics work on ranked.
Gear stats are understandable because of balancing, but most abilities kind of balance each other out and it would be like creating your own variation of that character instead of choosing 1 out of 3 variations like in MKX

I'm wondering, is it possible to get tyrant Superman and Batman gears from the ending? Or they're just giving the 1 gear and nothing else? Also if you reach 20 level on all characters do you get higher luck for getting Epic rare gears from Bronze/Silver/Gold boxes or that's just a guess?
When you reach Level 30, you get an augment for your character that you get to choose that gives you a higher chance to get their gear at the end of a match.
im only missing 1 ability for 16 characters to get them all... dont have the nightwing ability but all his others :( its a pain to unlock them... :( did u realise they also dont give us 2 shaders for each characters? they really want us to pay for the remaining 2 colors??? :(

As far as i know, there is Brainiac Chest for Supman. Sadly without shader.
