Some of my favorites on here! ACOMAF, Six of Crows, Addie LaRue 😍 Really enjoyed Hidden Pictures too! Didn’t love The Maidens or The Guest List but I hope you’ll love them both! My fall TBR is out of control, but some of the books include One Dark Window, Butcher and Blackbird, Where The Dark Stands Still, Ninth House, The Spellshop, the Beartown series, Homegoing, The Storied Life of AJ Fikry, and many more haha!
Hi! I just came across your channel! I'm a new subscriber! Great video. Oh my gosh. I loved ACOMAF!!!! My fave of that series. I'm a booktube newbie!! ❤
I have read Addie LaRue and LOVED it. I am planning on reading Hidden Pictures and the Silent Patient in October. I wish it were Autumn again here in Tasmania, reading spooking books in Spring doesn't have the same feel to it but I like to read spooky books in October despite the season.
@@_floharvey Yes fingers crossed. My daughter picked Hidden Pictures as my first book of October because it is supposed to be creepy and she wants me to be scared 😂
@@_floharvey I finished reading Hidden Pictures yesterday, it is not a horror, I have no idea why this was lumped within the horror genre it was a thriller. I enjoyed it but it did not scare me AT ALL.
Absolutely loved ACOMAF and Six of Crows. I read the silent patient and it was good because of the twist but didn’t really like the characters too much.
We have a few of the same books to be read. Beautiful World Where Are You Invisible Life of Addie LaRue The Guest List Hidden Pictures I got the Maidens too. Will be good for me to read them and hear your thoughts at the same time xx
I very rarely enjoy thrillers as I can never bring myself to care about anything going on but I personally really liked the silent patient, it was so engaging and easy to get through! I've been putting off the maidens as I've heard people don't really enjoy it as much 😭 Beautiful world where are you was also super amazing! It's much more mature, calm and introspective compared to normal people, which I found quite chaotic and kinda frustrating 🥲 I also barely read fantasy, but I really liked addie larue. The prose was beautiful and to me it kinda felt more like magical realism? 😭 the only other fantasy I enjoyed was the book eaters; super unique concept, complex characters, gothic atmosphere and a slight saphic relationship (?) Oh and its a standalone, not a huge series lol Anyway I hope you love all the books on your tbr, amazing video as always
So for the bigger books… just have a goal to read to page 50 or the end of a chapter that is close to that page, then to page 100 and so on. That is how I tackled the larger books until I am just like… 800 pages? No problem!

Ooh your TBR looks great too! Ninth house is SO perfect for fall and I really want to pick up a copy of one dark window! 🥰
ACOMAF is amazing!!! I've finished it a few days ago and I've already started ACOWAR and really liking it too!
I’m just intimidated by the size of them 😅 but I’m excited, it’s finally time!!

This is so true!! I definitely need to start thinking like this thank you 🥰🩷
Carrie is on my October TBR - buddy read?? 😉😉
Omg YES 🩷🩷
Audio version is only 8hrs and narrated by Sissy Spacek and Margaret Atwood - think i’m going to go that route rather than read it😊
Carrie isn't as scary as pet cemetery.
This is good to know, hopefully I’ll be okay then 😅
