We're lucky to live in the same town as Haskell Indian Nations University, so we go to those powwows and I'm on the powwow planning committee for the First Nations Student Association's powwow at KU. I love the chance to see my friends and enjoy the sense of community, always feel amazing during and after, even if I'm physically tired from running around all day.

Miigwech Mallory! Your videos are so nice and informative 💕. I look at Powwows on different UA-cam channels. I love the drums, the singing, the beautiful people in their wonderful regalia, the dancing and grand entry. I live on a different continent but one day I wish to visit a Powow in person. Blessings to you and your family! 🙏

I remember going to a pow wow with my family twice when I was young. I live in Quebec so I believe it was in Quebec. I remember it was a happy place, people smiled and danced to the drums. Handmade jewelry and moccasins. I just remember it it being very pleasant. Thank you for sharing this. Mallory you are a beautiful person.

Thank you for the share. In Australia, we don't get to
experience these events😢. It's a pity you were unable to add some buck ground sound. But thank you anyway.

I'm very fortunate that I have Native American Lodge near me
    called The Otter Creek Lodge.
    Panoka and Deerwalker live there
and maintain the Sacred land in Monroe Michigan.
They are fantastic teachers, and hold Spirit Lodges
along with Spring and Fall gatherings. It is amazing to help
erect the TeePee standing 20ft tall.
I've had the honor and pleasure to Fire Keeper for the Spirit Lodges,
and privileged to see the Woman lay Sage. I love listening to the stories
there is so much Wisdom to be learned.
I could go on and on but that would many many words in which to
    finish.
    Aho

Hi Mallory, thank you for the video. I do like going to Pow Wows I like to watch the different styles of dance, the songs and drums. When I do get the chance to go I always go around looking at the different vendors that bring their gifts or our cultural crafts. I always try to find that one unique item that I can buy, but always to hear the stories of our people. So happy to see you are introducing your son to the cultural teachings and ceremonies and I can see him one day being in the arbor dancing too.
