my kid got into trouble in elementary school for singing 2NE1's 'Naega Chhael Chalaga' (I am the best). teachers thought it was the N word. I showed them the music video and explained it means 'I am" / 'I' :)
BlackSwan was originally a group called Rania debuted back in 2011. The group consisted of different members at the time, but there was a black artist still. Later Rania debuted as BlackSwan which is when Fatou (blue haired member) debuted. There were two Korean members, a Senegalese member (Fatou), and a Brazilian member. There was a situation that happened and BlackSwan disappeared for a bit. Re-debuting BlackSwan now has the members you see, Fatou (blue hair: leader), Nvee (blonde hair: vocalist), Gabi (red hair: dancer) and the youngest Sriya (dancer…she is also the first Indian k-pop idol!)
BlackSwan is the first k-pop group without any Korean artist. Fatou is Senegalese-Belgian, Nvee is American, Sriya is Indian, and Gabi is Brazilian-German. BlackSwan album That Karma has 3 songs. This EP RollUp has 8 songs (including 4 instrumentals). Nvee did a song (One More Time) for a show and Fatou has a solo album (Letter-1) if you want to check those out

The Black woman you're talking about is Fatou. She's breaking barriers in Kpop for sure. She's not just a member either. She's the leader of the group. Also NVee is half white, half black, Sriya is Indian, and Gabi is Brazilian and German.
