Shoutout to all the overthinkers out there. Mimmi Bangoura is an emerging R&B/soul singer-songwriter hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, making music to help us make sense of modern life. Having released her debut EP 'Real Life' in Spring 2022, she is now building up to releasing her debut full-length album in the second half of 2022.
While her music has a light and airy production that lets her incredible vocals take center stage, Mimmi's lyrics come from the heart. She taps into a consciousness that we can all relate to; trying to figure out life and who you want to be as a person, exploring the depth of our relationships, both romantic and platonic, and reflecting on past experiences by turning them over in our mind again and again to try and make sense of them. When the music sounds as fresh as this, we’re hanging on every note.
