I just wasn't able to get things set to take advantage of them before getting to far from the 20 but I did note the price action. Awesome info
dude really has a knack for breaking down the intricacies of the 20 period moving average halt technique, and i respect the dedication still, i gotta say relying too much on a single technical indicator, even with as much nuance as presented here, can be a slippery slope trading is multifaceted and shouldn't hinge entirely on one method but props to the author for a deep dive into this strategy, and anyone into technical analysis should give this a watch just remember to diversify your trading toolkit!
You just don't follow it blinding. It's a guide part of an overall strategy to get in and out of the market. You have to know how to use in context of the market and what's going on. It sounds like you're new to trading. I use the 20 SMA as the foundation my trading and it works just as Oliver says. Once you know what you're doing.
Does this strategy also work for wide areas when looking for short transactions? That is, after several sharp increases and leaning on a 20 moving average, is it possible to look for short transactions?
