I recommend you to visit Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat That is the most popular place for Thais and foreigners when they come to Phitsanulok There is Phra Buddha Chinnarat. It is the most beautiful Buddha statue in Thailand and there is a walking street on Saturdays at Wat Chan Tawan Taek and you can also visit the golden temple. People here call it Wat Chan Tawan Tok When in Phitsanulok you should stay overnight to see the bat colonies at Ban Mung, Nakhon Thai District and Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park.
