I remember my classmates laughing at my tanned face all winter long. The cost of living in Goa was very cheap back then. It must have changed a lot now. Time has passed a lot.

Goa is fascinating, I've been there twice, I loved it, and after seeing it again I'd like to return. We'll travel to the Indian Himalayan region next year, after that it could be great to idle down in Goa.

However, the government does not allow anyone to see how the cattle, bulls and cows, are loaded on ships with barely space to stand, and standing in their waste, until they get to these Middle Eastern countries where they are slaughtered using halal methods. You will never find one picture of this shipment. It is off limits and highly militarized, so no one can see what really happens to them. It is top secret. I wonder why?? Why does the government not allow anybody anywhere near the docks in Gujarat. And absolutely no photography. Yet, one can find photography of everything else India ships out to other countries. Isn't that strange? What is it they don't want the people of India to see? Or maybe they don't want the world to see it? But why?? I am confused, what is so top secret about it. I think in the Middle East they say a prayer before they are butchered, with every drop of blood removed according to halal methods. It will turn anyone vegetarian. Such a nice episode! Just one thing: on Arjuna beach, twice you see a tourist woman in a bikini sitting on her own enjoying the sun and she's surrounded by groups of men staring at her. That can't be very comfortable for single women.

Grass is not dirty, its natural & beautiful. It naturally dies out during dry season. Till then it helps to prevent erosion of soil.

Are there any ethnic groups other than Christians living in Goa? From their features and clothing, I notice that there are no other non-Christians. It shows how successful Portugal was to convert all Hindus to Christianity.
