why take a 600lb bike on such technical roads like that? ...maybe some fire roads ....but jeep trails and single track on a $20,000.00 bike....?
We do it because conquering something that not everyone else can do makes you feel good about yourself plus it's just a boat load of fun

Yeah generally I'm laughing all the way up the hill on my KLR650 lol. It ain't the fastest bike in the world but it makes these bikes look ridiculous off road.

depends on whos riding it, I beat mine like a dirt bike all day
I think bc you can also take the 600lb bike on the highway and set the cruise at 90. It's not a goldwing, but it'll do it. Jack of all trades, master of none for sure.

What tires was the bike with the busted up rim running?
That bike came from Irv Seaver in SoCal. I'm not sure what tires they outfit that bike with. I know that RawHyde runs Sava MC60s on their bikes.
gregoryimagery Thanks! I've looked in to the Sava but they don't appear to have sizes for my KLR. Was hoping that might be an alternative I saw.
