so earthy and gorgeous primitive feeling, stunning piece. The camera movement with the whole scenography contribute to the brilliant atmosphere as well. Mangelsdorff, you naughty boy
The names spell correctly Ralf Huebner (dr), Guenter Lenz (b) Guenter Kronberg (as), Heinz Sauer (ts) and Albert Mangelsdorff (tb) Sauer is still one of the greatest saxplayers I know!
drums is Ralf Heubner, Albert on trombone, Gunter Kronberg on alto sax ("that's where he keeps all his hair"), should also be Gunter Lenz on Bass and Heinz Sauer on tenorsax. I think this was recorded just after they returned from a Far East tour.

It's very amazing
ahhhh awesome!
*Epic footage!*
Guenter Lenz is incredible. His accompaniment is solid as a rock, with melodies, clusters, etc. Look at the E string at 2:38 haha
A small ride cymbal!
haha, is that satan on the drums? this is awesome!
