I like this game. After you get used to combat, missions will be real quick. I had one fight end after about 12 minutes. I just left the terrain there for the next mission.
Loved your minis, also that narrative, so sick! I might try to budget in Loot Studios now! I’m on the fence whether to start off with Five Parsecs or Space Station Zero by Snarling Badger Studios.
Really enjoyed this series - would love for you to continue it, or even just to let us know what happened to your crew. You kept the focus on the characters which is key to keeping it interesting. I like that the battle itself was short but snappy!
Nice game with excellent story-telling intro! Did you do morale rolls for the enemies on a turn where they lose figures? I didn't see that but it has gotten rid of a few enemies in my games. The other thing you didn't appear to do was each stun hit knocks the enemies back 1". I think of it as weight of fire causing them to flinch rather than keep on taking hits.
This was cool,I like the crew looking forward to the next one.one suggestion -occasionally show some different angles of the board to show line of site.
That was great! I love the narrative. Hope you can keep it up. I got a bit confused when you were rolling dice for injuries in the tied combats, It looked like you were assigning the "Bad Guy" dice to affect the bad guys and the orange dice to affect your crew. It'd be less confusing if you consistently use the "Bad Guy" dice for their rolls and the orange ones for your crew. I may be mistaken, but that's the impression I got. Other than that it was great. Looking forward to Chapter 2.
Long story. I filmed turn two a long time ago, but a lot of it ended up corrupted. I recently decided to just scrap that round and rewind to the end of Turn 1 then play it again. I just re-filmed it a few days ago.
Really liked the narrative intro/outro. Had a real Firefly vibe. Looking forward to the next. Have to admit I prefer the melee combat from Five Leagues from the Borderlands. There is an ebb and flow which makes more cinematic. It is no less deadly for it. I also like the stun rule, gives you a chance to wear down those high toughness opponents. Of course, that works both ways!
Thanks! Definitely going for that vibe. I've looked at Five Leagues rules, but haven't played it yet. I do agree that the combat seems to have a lot going for it. And as I look through the potential baddies, there are a number of them with high toughness, so maybe I'll keep using the stun rule.
Loved it! Still waiting for Turn 2.
Phillip, any plans to continue gaming 5PFH anytime soon? Thanks!
13:30 interesting. I like the 3 stuns rule, as it means even strong units have to be somewhat careful.

I definitely got that vibe, too. Though if I keep rolling sixes for the number of hostiles, it'll probably keep trending toward thirty 🤪

Thanks! I am working on a way to do these more efficiently, as I really enjoyed it as well
@@MTFTabletop that's great news! I feared you'd abandoned the campaign... I'm already subscribed, so I'll look forward to the next episode!
Loved your art based on the minis and the fade to black and white at the end. Nice visual! Fun stuff!
I'm so happy I just bought this book. I believe I'm gonna have a blast playing it
Nice job... looking forward to more vids... what miniatures did you use?
The "three stuns and you're out" has saved my bacon a few times against high toughness enemies.
This game looks like so fun! Great battle report! I sold. ❤

Thanks. I am working on a second camera setup so I can do exactly that.

Thanks! Good point about the dice. You are correct in how I was rolling them. I'll try doing it the other way next time.
That is what I was thinking when Gamble got taken down.
Great video with a lot of neat extra production work for a very cool game!
Thanks! I enjoy it when channels like GFN Gaming add vfx and sfx in batreps, so I figured I'd try it myself.
Not enough FPFH campaigns, good video.
This was great! When is campaign turn 2?

I'm sad this is your only batrep.
