Bees Love a White Christmas

The trees growing the snowflake blossom are one of the many different kinds of eucalypt that is unique to our region of Australia. They always flower over the Christmas period filling the air with a sweet scent. Locals call these trees apple but they do not grow anything like an apple that can be eaten and are not in the rose family.

When the video started, I was certain I heard moos. Sure enough, you have cattle and Roos. ;) I could hear birds as well. What a beautiful area you live. The trees are so lovely. Their blooms look like little starbursts.

Thanks Kelly :) I love the sounds of the birds, crickets and frogs chirping if they are about which often makes me wait to let a jet fly past however once the cicadas get going they drown everything else out even the jets have a hard time competing with them lol.

@@ThymeFromti I grew up playing with cicadas. Amazing how loud they are. My cat caught one and came running into the house and under the bed with it. You can imagine the noise. We finally got it away from him. My cat was all bushy hahah.
