Advanced stuff is not for you. First get a basic foundation of Sadhna strong then search for a guru to initiate yourself further. Till then if immersed in Sadhna continue practicing the foundations as all advanced stuff without supervision will most likely result in harm. You are being protected from harming yourself and it should be so. It's not running down to Western level but also dumbing down to most Indian's spontaneous approach to religion which is most antithesis against any formal approach to Sadhna, hatha yoga, aghora and other such advanced approach to spiritual growth and development

It's the Shravan month and I'm fasting. As a devoted follower of Shiva since childhood, I've recently become fascinated with Bhairav through Rajarshi Nandy's podcast. However, I've been delaying performing the puja despite my interest. I don't consider myself a good devotee, as I often lose faith and struggle with devotion. I feel like Shiva tests me, and I'm tired of failing in both my career and spiritual pursuits. Last Friday, I finally sat down to worship Bhairav while traveling, offering him Kissmiss (a sweet) with a sincere heart, which brought me to tears. I felt like he accepted me as his devotee, but I'm afraid it's short-lived, as this cycle of doubt and devotion has been ongoing for ages."
Dear friend, I hope you're doing well. Please don't consider yourself not good. God doesn't judge. And being a devotee of Lord Shiva, how can you even think about it. He is Bholenaath 😇 Just offer your love and respect to him, surrender yourself unto him. Carry on with your daily routine with his thoughts in your mind. Be aware of him and his love for you. Yes we will be tested at times, it's an opportunity for us to re-dedicate ourselves.

I absolutely understand this It is a constant cycle, one can say, the perks of having a body so sound and mind even louder. We have to surrender ourselves to him. And when his grace comes, every doubt, every question, every thing will be clear. Try not to fret anything go through each day at a time. I'm also going through a very unclear time as of now. @@Teaandcoffeelies keep doing sadhana, it is truly a test for you. I am also going to start doing the batuka bhairav upasana as well as guided by Sir Nandy. I feel like all the restlessness and answers can only be answered after we have done significant amount of sadhana. Although I have not much knowledge in things like these, I believe if you face severe obstructions during pooja, self thoughts and all that and possibly even wanting to leave the altar, there might be any ritualistic errors, so check that. If nothing is wrong with any methods then just continue doing pooja. Mr. Nandy has detailed videos on shiva upasana and protective measures as well. Sometimes negative energies can block us from connecting to divine. Hoping for best results.🫡💞
