Really love your videos man, and not trying to hate but I just don't like the part that you are rating a pop less than it deserve just because it wasn't metallic or glowed. And it's like that if not all, most of your videos. Some pops don't make sense to have a metallic finish, just like this Nami. or even have a glow. I think some pops deserved to be scored higher even though they aren't metallic or GITD because it will not make sense to have one.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. An 8/10 is considered a good pop already, and more than fair with just a standing pose with standard paint work. It doesn’t have any action nor special effects here. The metallic / glow aspect is important because it uses more materials and higher quality work from Funko. Metallic paint is often more expensive, lasts longer, and retains color better than normal paint. Hope that helps understand our grading system, which we try to keep consistent. Again, 8/10 isn’t a bad score. Cheers!
