I'm guessing the bear only heard them and didn't see them at all, because of the reflection from outside. Most animals get confused unless familiar with glass. It's either reflections it completely see through
Some of my family has had bears break into their house multiple times and eat all their food. My brother in law has to chase the bear out of the house every time.
I think they are selfish morons. Those bears are allowed to get comfortable so someone can get a good video. It's just a matter of time before they have be shot because of the threat they pose . You should scare the hell out of any bear that comes around people.

I could watch the babies play all day. I think the Mama feels this pool is too deep for her kids. This is good for your children to watch the bears interact. Great memories. Thank you for not calling the police like many others do freaking out. They weren't looking to harm any one.
Shrimp Tunes I woke up to a mother bear and her three yearling cubs coming up onto our cabin deck just before 7 a.m. She moved away from the patio doors when she heard me talk to my husband. I said that we should back away from the window before the mother bear got concerned about our proximity to her cubs and thought about breaking the glass. They all went around to the back porch and a cub started shoving a smaller window there a bit so I thudded back on the widow and yelled to scare it but it could mostly just see it’s own reflection in the window, I think and it just walked over to our car. When I could see through the window that the Mother Bear was far enough away and the cubs were putting their paws on our car, I opened the cabin door, showed myself to the cubs and yelled loudly at them. The mother came running at me immediately, as I knew she would, and she huffed once, but I got back inside the cabin. She immediately spun around back towards her cubs, which all went up a nearby tree for several minutes while she stood nearby. After about five minutes or so, she ambled off back into the Saskatchewan woods with her cubs running quickly behind her. Hopefully it educated the mother and her cubs a bit better, to stay further away from humans, for all of our good. It was a pretty interesting thing to see though.
When we lived in an off-grid RV, we would cool off in the summer by going swimming in the creek at the end of the road. We shared it with bears (just don't get between momma and the cubs and you're fine) and beavers who would swim up out of curiosity. The funniest thing was the townsfolk freaking out from the bridge because there was a wild animal in the water with us.

I remember how excited we were that we had bought a house with a pool. For the first week we were enamored of the ducks that would land and frolic two or three at a time. And then I realized they were doing what comes naturally and leaving it at the bottom of the pool.

Cute...cute...cute. know a family that came home to find bears let themselves in and made quite a big mess. They broke the plexiglas glass and door frame to their deck. Wildlife control gave some good tips to prevent this from happening again.

And the steam that was rising off that pool tells that it’s warm..... Hmmmmm, a warm tub takes care of everything (as I’m sure you can imagine). So this sweet interlude will linger until they’ve soaped and scrubbed the pool several times and flushed those fudge dragons.
I just watched another video of bears in one "pool" but girl the kids in that videos were so annoyed, like horrendous kids, but the kids in this videos were so adorable, they were fascinated by the bears, respect them and care about them. Good job on this kids ✨
I think the human family is doing exactly the right thing: not encouraging OR discouraging the bears - just letting the bear mom and cubs enjoy the pool. I was thinking the human family could set up a fresh water fountain for the bears to drink from if they’re thirsty, so the bears aren’t tempted to drink from the pool. It’s very tempting to offer the bears food, but that wouldn’t be a good idea. Just letting the bears enjoy the pool from time to time is just a nice way to give the bears something nice, but not too attractive that the bears endanger themselves (or others). The human family is smart to teach the kids to give bears PLENTY of space. When I was a boy in the early sixties, my dad took me to Yosemite and there were bears all over the place. My dad taught me to never approach a bear, even a little one (ESPECIALLY a little one). Watching bears from a distance was OK, but make sure there is a nearby place to shelter in case the bear is aggressive (a car is a good place). I saw MANY bears VERY close up. Back in the sixties, personal safety wasn’t quite as important as it is now, but I think it’s better now.
These bears are living life to the fullest!!! And everyone needs to know and remember that bears were on that land first you moved into their bear neighborhood, and thank you for being cool with them and letting them experience life at it's best for a bear😊
