@@mochachu06 Ofc, I did step 5 from the video: Tap all over screen & back of phone then force restart. I had to do that a few times over a few weeks, coz the problem did come back a few times. But after about 3 weeks or so, not anymore.

The Freeze method worked on my HTC One A9. Thanks man! But be aware folks, it all comes down to the battery. Not all batteries are the same even though they LOOK the same. Some overheat. Some are slow. Some are fast. If after all these methods you still have issues, you need to replace the battery with an OED original battery. Do not buy cheap alternatives or try and use another phone's battery. They are known to even explode!

4years later in 2024, this video helped me with the black screen of death on my Galaxy S22 Ultra. The press and hold both volume buttons at the same time as holding the power button while charging helped resolve my black screen. This was after the holding the volume down and power button for 30 secs atleast 10x and the freezer method. Thank you

Just go get a new phone there's plenty of places that are offering new free phones if you go with their service some will even pay your disconnect fee if you have one.

the freezer hack saved me hundreds. here i was almost about to go to a technician then I decided to follow your tip to put the phone in the freezer and it worked

4years later in 2024, this video helped me with the black screen of death on my Galaxy S22 Ultra. The press and hold both volume buttons at the same time as holding the power button while charging helped resolve my black screen. This was after the holding the volume down and power button for 30 secs atleast 10x and the freezer method. Thank you

Go to Settings, Display and Brightness, and then select the time you want. Mine ranges from 30-seconds to 30 minutes.

you saved my 5 year old Samsung A 50 with no backups, big mistake on my part.
I ran through the whole process three times, and hitting my phone on my desk and being freshly froze did the trick. I've had to do this many times just to keep it on for 30 minutes... so I think it's time for a new phone :P

You're going to need to take it to a repair store then.
Just go get a new phone there's plenty of places that are offering new free phones if you go with their service some will even pay your disconnect fee if you have one.
This happened to me already twice. And i hoped that the first time it did, i have watched ur video. I have my screen renewed on a repair shop and it's a huge price. This time i tried all the steps up to 7 where i have gently smacked my phone to my palm. After that i tried the force restart and now it's working again and my screen is now on.

I did the 3 button method and something works so far all i got is a green screen that says it`s downloadng something

the freezer hack saved me hundreds. here i was almost about to go to a technician then I decided to follow your tip to put the phone in the freezer and it worked
