A humble coach that takes no credit but gives all the credit to the players and well deserved.
She is so awesome. I love my cowgirls but this coach is what a Legend is.
She is something special. That former Sooner running the softball team in Stillwater isn’t bad either. And he’s certainly been watching and learning. Softball in this state is going to be spectacular for years to come.
This coach is incredible. I’m one of the brand new softball fans and watching this team and how incredibly talented and driven they were was awesome. Just great stuff. I hope the exposure for softball continues to grow

I Love this Lady
She is an incredible woman first and that helps make her one incredible coach. I love the drive and the determination that the coach and the team has no matter who is on the field every game. It is something to cherish and so far, beyond compare and Coach Gasso you are certainly entitled to feel free about feeling great at what you have accomplished.

Coach gaso is in a league all of her own Class Act great group of girls she's actually got a pretty easy but how can you not admire it what she's done is nothing short of incredible and she'll always be in my folklore
The amount of coaches across the country that reach out to her for advice, is very impressive. Baseball, football you name it. She’s one of the best coaches of all time. Regardless of sport.
True there's going to be allot of FANS the way YA Performe its VERY EXCITING MORE THEN THE MEN... I find womens softball very exciting and more actions then men👍👍in the next 10 years it's going to blast tremendously the way ya perform.. Had to rewatch some prime OU clips at pinnacle of softball mountain as we now begin the postseason run to achieve the near impossible..4 straight! If victorious they join Uconn's legendary Breanna Stewart era 4 straight natty team in a very exclusive club of two. Let's go!!
Great to have a dynasty. CSU Fullerton had a winning streak in the 1980s. Most people at the school had no idea, and I used to watch them every time they had a home game.
I have followed the Sooners Softball program, because of Jocelyn Alo. I have come to an understanding the whole team is so talented. And the love Patti Gasso has for her players makes them special. When you watch them play, they have fun together. And they back up and love each other. That's why they are the champions for women's softball. The main ingredient is there head coach Patty Gasso. Thank you coach Gasso and congradulation's.

They need to add a Player of the year/legends statue park. Alo, Chamberlain, Ricketts, etc…
I’m sure they’ll build one outside the new stadium. May take a while to catch up on the statues though. I have a feeling the softball team will keeping adding to that list.

Ricketts one of my favorite players of all time . Talk about a 2-way player , she'd strike out the side and 3 minutes later knock one out of the park . Absolute legend .
And hopefully after this championship she needs to be the highest earned coach get paid what she deserves
For softball she is. 1.2 mil a year. Also I'm pretty sure she gets good bonus for winning it all. I think the pitching coaches makes 185k and JT (batting coach) makes 125k. My numbers could be a little off though.

At least Patty Gasso TRULY knows what she has/had with those Seniors. She’s been on a fairy tale ride for two years now. This OU team was, in my opinion, the easily the best softball team of all time. When you return as much championship talent as they did that’s what can happen. However,next season OU will be losing more talent than I’ve ever seen a team lose. It’ll be interesting to see how they look in 2023. Congrats to the Sooners.

Why do these reporters ask her these lame questions? How does she feel about being in the same category of the top sports teams in college history? That proved they don’t really research someone enough to know anything below a headline about her. Patty looks at life from a spiritual perspective, a Christian way of living, that her team is an offspring of. Especially this team and I’m sure the others, but this one is the one that really got my total devoted attention, I have never seen any group in any category of sports like them. They are the myriad of completion and competition between people. I loved them, this team is like Babe Ruth was in baseball, even people that don’t follow the sport, knows who they are, and admires them.
Thank you so much coach for a wonderful dominant season you girls live from start to finish even though JT did try to sabotage us LOL great job great job coach congratulations

why you crying you get players to transfer from other schools you only have 4 players from ok all the rest are from out of state if it wasnt for that you would have a regular team you think of titles not your players l
Players come to Oklahoma like they go to Alabama or any other great teams, they want to be part of it, a state is just lines on a page, and what you just said shows how shallow you think and how little you know about sports. Should you cheat a player out of their dreams just to please your petty way of thinking and I’m sure the way you live. Pitiful.
Wish we could see a different team win
well softball teams around the country better step it up. They've been beat before, but they also have the fight and cleanest defense and offense. that's what gets you here. I love OU softball win or lose. I'm all for some good intense games. Gotta' love the game regardless of who walks away with the Natty. This program has earned it these last two years and well see what next year brings. Had a lot of good teams this year and I'm excited to watch how much this sport is growing.

I respectfully disagree about the hotdogging. This sport is ALL about the posturing & hotdogging. If our little league team had done the "in your face" that these girls are doing...we would've been benched. Softball is lucky that a pitcher can't seriously hurt you like in baseball.
