Great video! I’ve been going to PEI every year since I was a kid and have never been to the basin head beach/hike but now I cannot wait to go check it out!!! Although fall is beautiful too bad you weren’t here in the summertime where you could enjoy the beaches a little more and actually get to swim…October is not our best beach weather!!, lol. Wish you guys would have stopped and spent some time exploring my home of Cape Breton Island. If you love beautiful hikes and scenery you missed out on a gem! Maybe next time!! Love your videos and baby Wyatt is so sweet!!
I loved watching you all travel around PEI. I have lived here all my life and grew up in Georgetown. That yellow house that was behind your wife and son was my childhood home, so I spent all my time at that beach swimming. It was an amazing spot to grow up. Thanks for sharing the beauty of this Island, and I am happy you guys enjoyed it!
If you ever come back to PEI visit the western end of end of the Island. Beautiful beaches, good food, Stompin Tom Center and much more. Friendly people! Enjoy your adventures 😊
Caven dish and Gren ich not Greenwish. Great video..start was our last days there during week stay. Lobster Shack (Victoria-by-the-sea). Road.down to Argyle Provincial Park...parallel to road to very nice well kept campground/trailer hookup and cottages (6). We had started our journey at air bnb in lower Montague (right across the bay from Georgetown) - gorgeous sunrises and chatter of 20 - 30 seals on low tide sandbar. 10 min from lower Montague is beautiful one sand beach - Panmure Prov. Park. Another beauty is Thunder Cove. Thank you for rekindling my memories of end August early September.
It’s actually due to the Gulf Stream of tropical water coming in the Northumberland straight . Not the shallow water. Also the warmest water is in Shediac area of NB. Great video. Nice family😀
Cool beach. Looks like a great place to explore. Very outdoorsy place. Lots to keep you busy. Great video and still waiting for that baby to make some noise. Cutie pie.
You represented PEI very well, it’s probably my favourite place to vacation. So relaxing with lots of activities if you choose. Can’t wait to see next week surfing the boring tide oops I mean tidal bore.
I have usually heard it said that the southern shores of PEI are some of the warmest north of the Carolinas--you should have checked the waters--many times water is warmer in fall than it was all summer. Sorry you missed some of the other great beaches on East Coast route. May be ones only locals are aware of. So happy to see you enjoying PEI.
Also worth noting is that all the train tracks were removed as there’s no more trains here and made into trails for walking, biking etc. They go from one end of the island to the other end.
A lot of people do kite surfing on PEI. It is my home province. Basin Head is beautiful and also has “Singing Sands” where it squeaks when you walk on it.
Great video! I grew up on PEI. I have to say my favorite part of this video was you trying to pronounce Cav en dish. And I say that in a very admirable way. 💕
As an island resident, you did a great job. We live on the water near the confederation bridge. Your alternate pronunciation for Cavendish was the correct one. You hit the most popular beaches but there are a lot of great options. Many Provincial parks/beaches are closed in October. The south shore beaches have red sand but the water is warmer. It's a great place but winters can be harsh (So don't everyone move here 😉)
I live a km from Basin Head Beach. Our front windows look over the ocean and we can see the museum from our house. Awesome! By the way it’s pronounced Grenich not Greenich
Beautiful trip! No Anne???? If you want to surf and see absolutely world class beaches then you need to go to Iles de la Madeleine. The 7 hour ferry leaves from Souris, PEI.
Tour de PEI Beaches... 👍 Always stunned how few "tourists" take advantage of the offseason... I guess that is what makes us street-smart "travelers"... 🤔 One advantage of pasta/sauce for dinner... leftovers are always good, if not better, the next day! 👍 I just watched on "outrageous" 5 minute free-style ski ⛷ video on UA-cam... Amazing Air... Great Cinematography... A must see... here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/fbqHK8i-HdA/v-deo.html I am not sure our partners necessarily approve of our "on-snow" aggressive styles from the top of the mountain on down... But it comes with us.... we are a package deal... 🤣 Adios y Buena Suerte
Wyatt is one of the cutest babies I’ve EVER seen in my life!! And I’m 45!! What a beautiful family, van, trip, etc. Just love you three!! ❤️
Thank you so much Sarah!!! 🥰
Wyatt needs some sunglasses.😊 They make ones with a soft strap to help keep them on.
Thank you!
As always, you guys do an awesome job on your videos. You’re a beautiful little family making the most of life. Cruise on!
Thank you Scott!!!

Hi
When I visit Pei - I visit the middle section of the island.
This part that you are showing is all new to me.
Keep in doing this : thanks
Great video, as always!
Thank you!
Should have dropped by Panmure Island, lovely spot with a light house. Glad you enjoyed your visit to our gentle island.
Drift wood is cool ❤
Couldn’t agree more 👍🏼
You represented PEI very well, it’s probably my favourite place to vacation. So relaxing with lots of activities if you choose. Can’t wait to see next week surfing the boring tide oops I mean tidal bore.

A lot of people do kite surfing on PEI. It is my home province. Basin Head is beautiful and also has “Singing Sands” where it squeaks when you walk on it.
If you are still here. You have to eat at Backwoods Burger In Tyne Valley. Our favorite spot. Enjoy the trip
Great video! I grew up on PEI. I have to say my favorite part of this video was you trying to pronounce Cav en dish. And I say that in a very admirable way. 💕
Beautiful video and Wyatt is adorable. I noticed he is squinting from the sun , can please protect his head and eyes. ❤
Thank you!!! I knew someone was going to call that out!! We don’t forget his hat anymore
@@MathersOnTheMap you are doing a great job with him. I have been following you for a few years now
appreciate that! 🙏
👍👍
Cavendish = cav en dish.
Greenwich = gren ich.

Thank you!!! Your home is beautiful, we will be back!!! Haha, we will try not to tell everyone (as we make a video about it and post it online 😳)
Happily walk those beaches posted for no shellfish harvest.... those shellfish are filter cleaning thise waters....and they are happy too.
I live a km from Basin Head Beach. Our front windows look over the ocean and we can see the museum from our house. Awesome! By the way it’s pronounced Grenich not Greenich
What a beautiful place to live! thanks for watching!!
Beautiful trip! No Anne???? If you want to surf and see absolutely world class beaches then you need to go to Iles de la Madeleine. The 7 hour ferry leaves from Souris, PEI.
Thank you! I heard great things there, we want to visit next summer!
How about a inside tour of a light house?
Unfortunately we didn't make it inside any of the lighthouses on our adventures. 😔
I actually live on PEI
CAV - EN - DISH ----- MONK - TON spelt with a C instead of a K but so you can say it properly
Cav en dish. Thats how you pronounce Cavendish
Thank you! Haha
