I will never forget my 6 summers working in the KI Rides Dept...and the many days I spent working on this ride. From HB Land to Old Coney...Oktoberfest to River Town...it was simply THE best summer job anybody could ever have. Hope the same for people in 2019. BTW...Beast night rides were ridiculous back in my day...😉
One of my favorite things about this ride is the fact that there's two lift hills which essentially makes The Beast 2 coasters in one pretty much basically. You don't see that in a lot of coasters, that's what makes this one unique.
The Beast terrified me in my early teens in the early 90s. It looks terrifying on this video. Think of all the people that have enjoyed this ride over the years - its a legendary coaster! Great video
@@marvffin1677 Ok well still. I remember when I was a kid I rode this ride like 7 or 8 times in a row when I was 12 and I somehow didn’t get a concussion. But still, you’re ear and that beep man. Hope you actually felt ok 👌🏼
Jerry Waggoner it shakes the crap out of you with all the lateral forces during turns. Super intense ride especially at night. Back car gives mist intense ride experience
I was there last year and rode The Beast multiple times. On a side note, the condition of the track usually has a lot more to do with how rough a wooden coaster is than the wheels.
Dude, you don't know bumpy hell until you've ridden Mean Streak at Cedar Point. This ride is perfectly fine. I actually wish they would ease off on the magnetic trims it has throughout the ride, which really kill the speed.
The Beast in an excellent wooden roller coaster, don't get me wrong, but the magnetic brakes really slow the ride down quite a bit, especially in that straight section, it just slows it down gradually. As well, I think there is way too many. Why put it on the first drop, the hill after the first drop, and the second drop? Nevertheless, The Beast is still an awesome ride, even after 35 years of operation. Happy 35th anniversary to The Beast! :):)
sadly i think the brakes are there to help keep the ride from falling apart like the son of beast did. to much stress for a wooden coaster. the age comes into play as well. its not a young ride.
The Beast has always had trims. There's a POV from its opening year that shows it with trims then, and they were even more powerful then. It would require an insane amount of maintenance if they let it run trimless as it would easily go over 75+ mph around some of those turns before the second lift.
This is beater then El toro i love El toro but it is not long enough actually i like them the same the beast is a Vintage wine El toro gulping a pint of larger when your thirsty a nice rush

for a second i thought this said the best backrow pov
The greatest wooden coaster of all time.
This ride broke my skull cause i slammed it against someone during the ride
@@marvffin1677 Same, its a good attraction but it’s so damn rough. I hope you’re ok from that skull collision
@@gaberyan1429 it was an over exaggeration. my ear was red and I did hear a beep in my ear for 2 hours tho.

By far the most Wicked seat of the Beast!
Omg I've dreamed of riding this since being a kid, great video, thank you
This ride its so rough and violent it hurt my legs and back for a week
This ride always looks so dull when there's a mounted POV. Back row like this really gives you a good idea of how this ride actually is.

I use the pov on roller coaster tycoon. This is the best view.
Just road this for my first time last month it scared the crap outta me so i bought the beast camo hat...😂😂😂
good video and I appreciate the bio
Is Shaq able to ride this ride? He might be too tall.
Left side, last row is the best position on this ride... especially at night.
Back seat's always the best, so intense! You literally get yanked over the hill!
4 nuts who want to RMC every wooden coaster disliked this video.
RMC the Beast make the first lift hill taller
Beast is beast
Me and the beast share the same birthday :D
April 14, 1979? Or just april 14

Wait, this isn’t back row, this is third to back row... You lied...
you should of got front row
RMC should convert this, dead ass. Would be ASTONISHING
I smoked some weed in that back seat. Good times at Kings Island, indeed
epicdrumer so many times....
RMC the Beast
Thsi ride also feels like smoking weed because your head hurts and feels weird after riding it. Kinda like when u get high, u know?
